Post subject:  Any advice on this or am I acting like a total afc?

Hi Guys,

So I met this girl online. Exchanged about 30 emails before she sent her number. Went on a date. Reached about 20 mins late. Total disaster. Had dinner. She didn't speak much. I was the one blabbering. Though, I felt bad that she waited for me. Finally, she knows that on Fri I go to clubs and shit. So, while coming out of restaurant she told me that I should go out after date. She doesn't like clubbing though. We hugged in the end. I bailed out. That was embarassing. Emailed her about a week later. Told her that date was bad and stuff and I didn't intend to reach late. She replied back that I should not worry about it. She too thinks that date was awkward. I sent her another email. But, no reply till now. Its like 24 hours. Do you think its over? Should I stop thinking about this girl? I did wrote to her that she was really polite for waiting for me on our first date where I reached 20 mins late. Is she into me or she was just being polite? If she replies should I ask for second date? Or it won't be a good idea? Looks like I am completely behaving like a AFC, no doubt.

Please advise.

Thanks.

idk dude, best thing I can tell you is, figure out what was so awkward about the date, then reverse whatever traits about you made it awkward , and she'll be sure to notice! Also man you sound kind of insecure (Not that I have room to talk!), but try learning some Inner Game, it works WONDERS!

Try going on a more fun date, less awkward than dinner, it'll provoke more conversation and less awkwardness.

If that fails, scrap it.

you're asking some types of questions that we can't read the tea leaves on just from your post. Is she a polite girl who doesn't speak her mind readily? I've no clue. Kind of doesn't matter to me for your purposes.

Here's what I do know. I've been on a few fucking terrible dates - awkward ones. I cringe thinking about them now. In all those cases my axiom that girls will always find a way to make you move on or not move on held true for me. What I'm hearing here is she has not told you to get lost. She overlooked your tardiness, and she's now overlooking your apologies.

She has responded to you despite all these missteps. Apologies have never been an aphrodisiac. Try to step out of yourself and stop apologizing, stop questioning whether she likes you, and start envisioning a non-awkward date. don't go to dinner again.

My advice to you: This girl you only met online but you went to a very formal date.

bad dates:

dinner
movie
somewhere far away

ok dinner you have to sit at a table staring at your date eating food. girls maybe uncomfortable with you watching them eat. lol. n e way its just not ideal. it costs money. once you are there you are pressured into riding out through the date, you feel incased because at no point could you just leave. even if she wasnt going to leave, i'm sure should would still want the option in case you unzipped your fly and pulled out your whale and whapped it on top of her caesar salad and asked "you want dressing with that?"

movies are shit because you cannot talk and have little eye contact etc.

she needs to be comfortable. I facebook gamed my best friends, ex girlfriends bestfriend [get it?] who lives the other side of the country. When i met her for the first time i was with my friends [my friend and the ex became close again hence why we met up] and because she was with her friends she was comfortable and we had an amazing time [she had a bf... playyyerrr]

she's into you. but don't get hung up on her. email her asking to go for a walk. if she wants to go for it. if not move on.

Thanks everyone. This is what she wrote in her last email "I did think the date was awkward, too. But really, don't worry about it. Thanks for sending this email. :)".

So, I am just wondering, if she is still interested. I will definitely ask her out this weekend and if she doesn't want to go out with me; respect, and move on

Yeh. Don't ask her out, ask her out. as in don't try and make her your girlfriend. she'l need more time with you first.

if she lives close by and there is a shopping center [mall or w/e] say "i'm going shopping at the weekend, come keep me company"

then when she says yes go to the mall and try this:

"we have to buy each other the most amazingly awesome present, but we can only spend £2/$2/€2 on each other. we'll meet up here in 10 minutes."

then when you meet back up... DONT SHOW THE PRESENT.

instead go around the shopping center together. have fun trying on clothes etc. get something quick to eat... like a big mac ;) or pull out your whopper w/e then once you've had some fun and you take her home or w/e before you leave give her the present.

when getting the present get summit like a fairy wand or summit. something girly but cool/funny. then everytime she sees it lying about her floordrobe she'l think of you. BOOM date done.

Hi Tom,

I did try to ask her out. She told me that she has found someone on the internet recently and she really likes him. I just played it kool, congratulated her and asked if she wants to go out for movie with me and is it going to affect her new bf. She said "nah he wouldn't mind, but tonight I'm kind of tired to be honest with you - its been a really long week. I think I'm just going to hang out at home." I said "sure, i m going out, ttyl".....Time to move on ........

i just told her not to invite her ass to a movie. bad idea.

yeh move on but next time just hang out with the girl, then act on impulses when you are with her. dont ask her out on a date.

we are not here to date girls. we are here to connect with them.

30 emails were too many. I agree. Totally agree with afc attitude. Got to change for sure. Last night, got another girl's number; She is a HB 7.5. Previous one was HB 5.5 at the most. So, all is not lost. Getting better, I guess.

Game goes on!
