Hi everyone, I'm totally new to MPUA and I've been reading lots of posts on online sarging, so I gave it a go this morning - not a high response rate yet (10%) but I just sent out a batch a few hours ago so we'll see what else comes in. For this first try I used the canned "Married/Divorced" opener as my starting point. It's definitely on big time with one of them and we'll see about the other, still going... ----------- (Her after opener) Uh what? Her: Haha to be honest it was the most creative message I've received yet. And I'm still writing to you haha so obviously you've intrigued. Me enough Me: Right, well as you should be, I'm very intriguing and you're fun to talk to thankfully, my time is limited, schedule crazy so I can only focus on those who can keep up their end of a stimulating conversation...so you get 3 pts for that, once you get to fifteen points you win a prize! Her: Haha I like surprises. And in this hypothetical marriage, maybe I slept with the pool boy because you slept with the maid who you insisted wore a french maid uniform. ever think about that? Me: I believe that was your reasoning, however in defense I bought that amazing Louis Vuitton french-maid outfit and you refused to wear it...seemed like such a waste! I will award you two more points (now you're up to five) for your spirit, you seem like a really fun person to talk to - I have to head out now, today is a gorgeous day and my dog deserves some off-leash time in the woods, you should e-mail me at XXXXXX as the OK Cupid messaging system I find a little cumbersome, the more interesting your e-mail, the more points you will receive, looking at your profile I see that your politics sway towards the conservative, I'll give you one bonus point at this time for that due to the novelty factor of that alone as you are a rare breed in Boston. Then she e-mailed: You are mistaken. I only refused to wear the french maid outfit because you wouldn't wear a cop uniform and strip search me. So in all fairness I should get about 75% in the divorce. Depending on the type of dog I might also sue for full custody. ------------- There was usually about a 2-3 minute gap between responses, she was firing right back very quickly - it does seem like keeping things moving quick is really important in online pick up. I'll be writing back to her e-mail a little later today. |
