Post subject:  "I'm really busy..." - How to recover
I said to this girl that we don't see each other nearly enough. Her reply was: "What do you want from me? I'm really busy."

I then replied with "You can't be all work and no play, you need balance!".

She didn't reply to that, then idled for a few minutes before logging off.

Two questions:

-Was my reply good?
-How do I re-initiate from this?

Dude, I don't think she likes you. No girl says that to any guy without disliking them.

Tell us about this girl. Do you know her? Did you just meet her? Give us the 411.

1)No. I can tell you're either new to this, or you're completely drowned in thought, past, future, failures, hopes, dreams, and nothing related to NOW.

2)You can't. From those responses, I will say, with 100% certainty, that she doesn't like you, and probably never will.

If anything, I want to give you perspective.

I've known this girl for a few weeks now. I met her through mutual friends. We've been talking over facebook for a while now. About half the time she'll initiate the chats or write on my wall. I haven't been able to set up a Day 2 because we are both busy with exams.

A few weeks ago she cancelled other plans, so she could come to a party I invited her and two of her friends to. In person she seems to be really attracted to me, but when it comes to text it just feels laboured.

Like I said, we're both busy with exams at the moment. So by that I meant she should take a break from the studying and do something fun...

I have heard that she's really popular and tends to be very picky about the guys she likes. Some people have also told me that she's never made out with a guy before.

As to why she gave me a mean response? Well from what I hear she's used to guys chasing after her and supplicating to her every wish. I don't do that, so maybe this is her reaction to it?
