After like 2 or 3 messages back and forth of POF, my prospects always just flake off and don't respond back after our 3rd or 4th interaction.

My most recent interaction went something along the lines of such:

HB: heyy so a jersey-surfer boy huh? i learned recently in australia. :)

Me: Australia? wow that's gotta be one hell of a flight hah. I learned in Hawaii this summer and I thought my flight was bad. You eyes are so captivating in your default pic, had me enthralled ;)

HB: yeahh it wasn't too bad but i didn't do so well hah. thank youu i love compliments ;)

Me: Yeahh, just don't go expecting them or anything now...I only say what I mean when I mean it haha. So tell me about yourself other than you surf and like to ditch on bad dates? [was in her profile]

::NO RESPONSE::

Was that over the edge? I'm still trying to gauge how far is "too far" with negging and cocky with girls, especially online...

Asking her to tell you about herself would require her to think. Don't you see the problem in that? It's boring for her. At that early stage of the game you are strictly there for her entertainment. So entertain, tease, and prod her.

Since you're getting flaked on all the time, they are telling you that your approach is wrong.

Connecting with women by discussing flights, weather, and other boring stuff will sink your boat.

Here is what you want. You have to pretty well blow her away everytime. You have to be better than the others. You should crack her up everytime. Your goal is to make sure that when she sees you wrote, she is excited to open it.

Just don't write back till you're really in the mood and have something clever to write.

One of my main issues (which I've yet to figure out how to cure) is the fear that my cocky/sexually suggestive comments back, especially online or txt would be taken too far and I'd be ignored or rejected too. I just don't think I know my boundaries in terms of being too "out there" or obnoxious. I guess I just have to trial and error to figure that out.

Well dont worry you can always try again with her. Just wait awhile before you talk to her again. The next time you respond you can say something like, "Most of you decent looking women are flakes." that should get her attention just make sure you keep it.

The danger is you will be perceived as the entertainer and not a seducer. Tease - YES Entertain - NO.

I think the problem lies in shifting it from the approach and not the approach itself.

I think most people on these boards think that ALL girls are game-able. They're not - a lot are timewasters (especially online) and have NO intention of meeting or doing ANYthing offline. Attention seekers who just need to be identified so you can move on promptly.

ALWAYS qualify them asap that they are willing to take it offline. Use your profile to do that. Move on if they are not willing to take it offline.

Oh NEVER compliment a girl until you've met and had sex with her. Be reluctant to do that even then! It's a girl's nature or birthright to look pretty - it is NOT special.

I suspect your last question was too direct and she realised you were serious.

GvCIA just use online stuff as little as possible and get it offline asap. ALWAYS aim for that goal. I've done very little cocky funny, little Negging and fuck all DHV stories yet still can get day 2s. The process is simple - be direct yet polite , slightly diss your lame opponents - suggest moving it offline, and be prepared to let go of those uncooperative girls
