Now I know how to respond to the second half of her response but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on whether or not to respond to the first half of what she said...

So, being a musician, is there any particular place in Austin you play? Are you part of a band? There are some really great venues in Austin: The Parish, Club Deville, Emo's, The Mohawk....and so many more I've yet to visit. I've seen a lot of shows at the Cactus Cafe.
