I sort of ran out of local girls to talk to on OkCupid while I'm at work. So I deleted my account and made a new one. Profile changed a little, but it's mostly the same. Only difference this time, is I only uploaded one photo. It's a super shitty one too. I'm on stage playing an instrument, in horrible lighting, and it's a grainy pic. You can't see my face, and can't tell much about my body either.
However... I'm getting interest out the wazoo now. Random girls messaging me, quite a few phone numbers, random likes. Girls start qualifying themselves pretty quick.
I'm assuming it's something about the mystery (I like to think my profile is pretty good). It's only been up a couple of days, so I haven't arranged any meetups since setting up the new one. However, with that one change, I've went from getting about 17 profile views a week to 90. And the week is only half over...
It could be that I'm just ugly
But I think it's more to do with the fact that I look high value in the picture. I had this pic on my other profile, but also 2 other ones where I was looking at the camera. I feel like it's something to do with the "In action snapshot" vibe of the current picture. Going to try to make some similar ones soon that show more of my face and such. So I can field test that idea.
