So I went ahead and sent her this:
"Did you know you sound just delightful to be around? The part about human extinction got me, especially."

I figured i might get a laugh out of it, but I was guessing a snarky response judging by her profile.

She replied:
"Aw thanks, its refreshing to get a message thats exactly like all the others I get."

Now I'm guessing this is BS for two reasons, firstly, because she definitely wouldn't have replied if it was, and I assume most guys would be scared of a girl with a profile like that. Two, because this is the first i've seen her on the site.

What I'm wondering is do I keep being kind of a sarcastic smartass, and when does she deserve compliments/me actually being nice?

If you read all that and replied, then kudos to you and I thank you.

No expert, but I would definitely continue to be a smartass, you can do some push pull, but the push part shouldn't be equal to the pull part. For example, your next answer could be: I bet you get a ton with that lovely character hmm.. (pull), well at least you're special (push)... I guess (pull) or ...in an emo kind of special (pull). Try to be more creative than this, it's just an example. Then ask a question to keep the convo going, for example: So what's your favourite form of human extinction? Mine is a nuclear catastrophy, but I bet yours is much more interesting, I'd love to hear it.
Or something like that. You reward her behavior whenever she starts behaving normally, it doesn't have to be a direct compliment, it can also be in the push-pull form, the push being more prominent this time, like: You're a pretty awesome girl, for a weirdo ;) So she'll know you're joking about the weirdo part, but still, it's not a direct compliment.
As I said, I'm no expert, maybe other guys can give you better advice. Good luck and keep us posted!

Unfortunately looking at her profile again im kind of suspicious its fake. She only has one picture and its kind of small also.

that's a possibility. but if not, she's a jackpot.
maybe something in between--. the one that will say she doesn't need sex at all, but gets dripping wet just seeing you naked, or anouncing she's not in the mood but gives it up as soon as you give her a doggy look, the one complaining about men and their hobbies but will spend hours playing nintendo with/against you and having a ball, the caring one with a "big heart" who can be simpler and satisfied with less than you - the caveman..do I need to say more?
not saying she is that type, but it "smells" strongly that way to me....that is..once you get past her "defenses".

Honestly.. I've seen girls like this online and I have no idea what their aim is. They just like to shoot down guys and I'm convinced will not meet with anyone online. Trolls, that's the word..

Yes, there are people who sit there online just to tear apart people "troll" if you will. I spent 5 years playing World Of Warcraft.. trust me.. these people exist. They will spend their entire day/lives online just to insult people or what ever their purpose is.

I highly doubt your opener was just like all the other messages she gets.. if you've ever seen a woman's inbox it's mostly "Hi" "hey" "Hey there"" whats up".

Either she's trolling or she's a serious bitch with an attitude. Or there's a hidden third option.. she's one of those weird artsy girls who is all over the place, has some bizzare hard to understand views, and has some kind of fucked up warped and demented view about everything. I don't know, she seems like a waste of time to me.

What you're doing is getting her to validate that she's unique/out-there as she WANTS to be perceived - she'll then attempt to meet your initial assumption that she is in fact unique by PROVING it to you...this isn't to win you over, but in reality to confirm to her that she is unique by obtaining your validation. The beauty of this is that by doing this she's also completely buying into YOUR frame.

I did some push/pull and she kept being a bitch so i gave up.

Never got her first name, her U/N is from a song. Ill PM it to you.
