There are some great threads here, I like Joeski's approach. When I first moved out on my own after college, people recommended eharmony. I didn't even get a single date out of that, the site's bullshit for a number of reasons that we all prob. know, so I moved on to CL at one point. To be honest, I got discouraged b/c so many girls wanted to talk and talk and talk via email, or even AIM, but then would either just disappear or say "Well, I guess I'm just not comfortable w/ someone online." More often than not, I've found girls just disappear, before or after they get my pic. I've gotten a couple dates out of CL, but they didn't end up becoming anything. I decided to throw in the towel online a few months ago b/c a girl told me most girls who do that are just trying to find a little distraction, then move on. But then I started reading The Game and decided to give it another shot, this time applying the "I don't give a shit" approach. I wrote the same ads that got responses, then I'd write back but delete their email from my inbox, not planning on ever hearing back. It definitely cut down on the let-down factor, but still didn't get any further. Then I decided to apply Style's formula where you come across like a major cocky asshole but in person your a nice, sweet, congenial guy. This is the message that's gotten me some interesting responses so far. Any thoughts on this? http://richmond.craigslist.org/m4w/475108685.html Girls who don't send a picture, I respond like their email jumped out at me b/c it didn't have a pic, and I thought there might be something to her, and say "I know that based on the emails I've gotten so far, I could probably put together a model press packet for Glamour Magazine. Any feedback would, as always, be greatly appreciated. |

I reckon this cyber stuff is best used heavilly in conjuction with physical contact. At the minute, I'm using it to build tension and excitment in this girl. I don't talk to her for very long, make it a rollercoaster of neges and positivs and keep it really funny. Always leave her wanting more... What d'ya reckon |
