Post subject:  What is up with this? Always has happened
Hey guys, i'm a lil stoned. But i've always been muscular....good genes? i work hard? whatever. Since i can remember (maybe 10 y/o) every time i've worn a cut off sleeve/tank top or now a days "guineTee" haha, however you spell it.....i'd get comments like "hey show off"...."why you wearing that?" ..other condescending comments like that.

or is it?

I THINK i've taken it as a BAD thing in the past, and that's what had turned me beta at some point(in that situation). I felt like "showing off" was a very bad thing....but then again i was only wearing a tanktop b/c it's summer and i'm hot as fuck.

Is this somehow""gay/inappropriate" for ME to do...or are they just jealous?

It's something that has always fucked with me....pretty much felt like i didn't deserve to be anything worthwhile or else i'd be pointed out from the rest of the people....i guess i found comfort in not having the spotlight on them. I guess i should take comments like that as a compliment and not let it effect my frame.

Dude, people say the exact same shit to me. It happened all throughout high school and even still when I wear cuttoffs in college people bust my balls - like it's a crime to cool down when you're hot (but at the same time I kinda am showing off)

What you need to remember is that you're Alpha and you're the shit. It's all about your frame. Everything you do is fucking awesome. So if someone calls you a showoff just give them shit back.

Examples:

Friend thats a dude says "showoff"
Reply - "you tool, quit lookin at me then" Then remark to a girl nearby "God I can't take this kid anywhere with me"

Chick says "hey showoff"
Reply - "I'm not a piece of meat Jennifer"

If you keep your frame, you're good.

Hey man, I'm 6ft 2in and like 220lbs (fairly muscular and workin on it), I used to be about 150lbs, real skinny but had a 6 pack.
Back then, everyone used to give me shit for being scrawny. So, I put on weight. People started giving me shit for being fat. I realised it wasn't a good place to be, and if I'm going to cop shit either way, I'd at least like to be happy with myself. I'm now struggling with trying to get that 6-pack back :)
I still cop shit (but now it's more like "put the guns away!"), but it doesn't bother me as much now, cos I know I try to take care of myself, and most people either a) give you shit because they are jealous, or b) give you shit about a negative aspect of yourself to make themselves look/feel better, usually because you're a threat and they're jealous :)
