| Post subject: | Free Improvisational Comedy Group |
Based in Manchester, England, I run a free Improv comedy group. Its low key and casual and no audience (so no nerves about performing to loads of people) where we run through loads of random games and learn at the same time. Every time its different, new people and especially beginners are absolutely welcome as the games a group are easy to grasp and understand during the first session. There's no affiliation, money, advertising, promotions, its literally a group of enthusiastic people - male and female, all ages, ethnicity, gender, species - who run it in function rooms around Manchester. There's no catch 22 or any commitments, turn up when you like, how you like. It can be something as simple as a fun night to blow off some steam or a genuine place to learn and develop yourself. You develop quick thinking, wittiness, the ability to start and carry on conversations, stories and jokes. Its very unpick up but it can really help that side of you if you want it to, although not everybody at the improv does or knows about pua there many good and enthusiastic 'puas' who go out after for a few drinks and a night out.
