Thanks for reading. Bit of back story: Work with this girl, seeing her around and hanging out for a little over a month now.. good kino escalation although she's very shy... we hold hands etc while walking but no kiss yet..

Spent the whole afternoon on Sunday together and we had a good time... she invited me back to hers to make me some tea and I was looking for a k close but I couldn't find it. I did get her to give me a massage through.

On the way out I made a stupid comment about something very personal to her. It wasn't said with malice but she took it the wrong way.

I saw that she wasn't very impressed and stuck my foot in my mouth further

"Oh, you took that the wrong way; I don't care though"

then basically it got slightly awkward and I just left..

After I got home on Sunday night I realised she'd deleted me on Facebook... and blocked me on Whats App.. so i tried to call her but she didn't pick up.. I didn't try calling more than once and I didn't send a text message...

The next morning I saw her come out of the elevator as I was walking in, and we exchanged "Hi's"... I kept looking at her in a sort of funny way and said "we need to talk" looking quite puzzled (it didn't at all come off as forceful)..

she said "no"...

I haven't seen, talked to, or texted her since... (this was yesterday morning)

what do you guys think I should do? thanks so much and Merry Christmas!

I've done this many-a-time. You just gotta' let her simmer down for a while. Then do something really sweet to make up for it. Like send her some flowers after a few days and tell her that you understand if she doesn't want to see you again, but that you want to let her know you have a bad habit of making stupid comments because of the way you were raised and you hope that you and her can at least be friends again.

What the heck did you say to her btw? lolz

Thanks very much for your reply. I'll take your advice and wait it out... About what I told her; was basically the worst thing to hear from someone trying to build her trust! If anyone else has anything further to add, please do so... All ears.
