Post subject:  How far do you go...
To introduce yourself to a woman? I ask because I had a funny moment today. I was at the local mall getting a bite to eat after work, and on my way up the escalator to the exit where my car was I noticed a girl looking my way on the lower floor. There was a few seconds of eye contact and I thought hell, I'll go for it. I took the down escalator immediately to see if she was still nearby or had ducked into one of the nearby shops. She probably just left as well, but I certainly woulda sped up my walk a bit to say hi and flat out say I had to loop back around to introduce myself. I wasn't gonna knock over the 70 year old couple behind me to run back down the escalator, but I had nothing else to do at that moment.

So it got me to thinking of this question, how much effort/distance would you go if a girl caught your eye?

the real question should be how far out of her way should she have to come and see you?? your king shit .. :P 8)

A girl will almost never approach you. Thats why they stare at you or look at you for long periods of time. Though some people may think that it goes against "PUA LAWS" to go out of your way to introduce yourself to a girl. But... if she's giving you an open door, you better take it. She might have opened that door to many guys and most were to afraid to approach her, so if you go, you have a pretty good chance, unless you screw it up. If she looks at you and/or smiles, you already have 50% of the game which is that you appealed to her physically. Now its up to you to not mess the other 50%.
Almost 90% of men are afraid to talk to a girl, and we've all been there, and got through it which is what separates us from the rest, so you talking to her, is a win situation.

It is kind of an interesting contradiction. So much fuss is made about making sure you don't seem needy, demonstrating disinterest, believing you are the prize. To an extent its certainly true, but I do believe that to get the ball rolling at the end of the day, nine times outta ten, you have to go out of your way to open. I mean hell, if that girl was still there when I went down the escalator who knows what woulda happened? Better to go for it and fail than to not bother because you worry you'll look less cool.
