I always thought I wanted to be confident, but what the hell does that really mean? Confidence is a pretty much american term, we all know the stereotype of a 'confident man'. Pretty idealistic, not so realistic. Atleast, not in my experience. What I was looking for is self-assurance or self-trust. (Pick whatever you like.) It's like learning how to walk, nobody had to tell you which muscle-group to use and in what order. You just tried and failed at it, till you've got it right. And still, you don't know how to walk. You just do it. Trial & Error I enjoy women, this is where it starts and ends. This is enough motivation for me to go out and talk to women, see which I can get something going on with and who aren't interested. Super simple. To gain a sense of self-trust it's all about exposure. Enough exposure to certain situations translates into experience. What to do, what not to do. Where 'skill' comes in is realizing why you succeeded at something. I never wanted to teach 'pick-up' and never will. I'm not too interested in skill. But I think I can safely say that we all want meeting women to be like walking. |

I kinda agree with you. Self aware is a better term. Know yourself and then work on what you are having problems with... |

And that goes for every single new thing that you're learning, by trial & error, you get good, cause after you got burned by your mistakes, you see what you can / can't do. |

Actually, there are not that many things that you can not do... You just need more practice. |
