Am I dumb or stupid if I have a blank or empty mind? I was constantly thinking about what I find now as pointless, I started meditating and the result I have is just no thought, blank mind, no mind etc.. (don't get the lingo mixed up) Example, I'd look at woman and I can see she has all her jewleries pheriphally but I don't look at them, I can control my thoughts as to wether Id want to fuck her or not, but most of the time my mind is blank with no thought.. Anyone has any ideas? |

What makes you think you should think. p.s. thinking you're not thinking is still thinking |

A blank mind is not what is referred to here."The grass isn't green either because everybody says it is." ≠LD |

Maybe your mind is able to mold, shape, and then go back to zero. If your mind is blank it is ready for something to fill it. |

How does one know hes Alpha? He doesnt think he is Alpha he knows he is.I dont think that Im not thinking, I know when my mind is blank, THEN I think to myself "????? Why am I not thinking about anything??" when I realise my mind is blank the thought of "what am I thinking of right now?" and BOOM! thoughts run like a river Quote: You'd be dead if you really had a blank mind bro
By a blank mind what I mean is taking things as is, if you say " the grass is green" I would take it as is without curiosity. Does this have anything to do with all the meditations I've been doing? if so then why would other people make a statement of "think before you speak" |

Some people try for a long time to quiet their mind. Sound like you are naturally there |

What's wrong with having no thoughts? Isn't it peaceful without all the mental clutter? You should be happy. |

Wow I never knew that, THANKS! Quote: What's wrong with having no thoughts? Isn't it peaceful without all the mental clutter? You should be happy.
At first I saw it as a negative like I was either dumb or stupid for having no second thoughts about things, when I was thinking too much I thought it was neccessary to ask your self all these things such as which side of the bread to butter and why did I pick that certain side? why not the other? I thought I would know myself better if I asked all these questions to myself, and when I started PU it was the opposite of what they are teachingThanks for the help guys, if anyone has any other input feel free |

I've had it before too it'll go away with practice. Main thing is: Listen to what she says and ask open-ended questions...let her do the talking(many women are extravert) if she doesn't seem talkative, just make a statement about her(she'll respond for sure)-don't make it negative e.g. You look like somebody who loves pop music. no matter what the answer is conversation will keep going. Good luck. P.S. LISTENING is the biggest part...as for opening...there is one exercise that makes observational openers much easier. If you're interested p.m. me. you can do some improvisation exercises if you wish-really helpful. |
