After personal experience, research and learning. I'm starting to suspect that the big secret to consistent success is really just a strong state & smooth escalation without hesitation. more and more things I see point in that direction. Is that really all there is to it? |

Think of it like a car: All you really need for a car is wheels and an engine. Steering really helps though, and breaks, gears etc. Also, things like cruise control and stability control are nice to have, along with parking sensors and climate control. Sure, the engine and wheels will get you from A to B, but there are more things you can add to make it faster/more comfortable/more fun. |

Taking my fucking car analogy. All you really need for a car is wheels and an engine. Steering really helps though, and breaks, gears etc. Also, things like cruise control and stability control are nice to have, along with parking sensors and climate control. Sure, the engine and wheels will get you from A to B, but there are more things you can add to make it faster/more comfortable/more fun. |
