So I met a stunning European girl, blonde, sexy, cute, pretty face. I had a ONS with her and then continued to see her even though we lived in different countries and we got on well. Then the distance factor became too much and although we are still in touch, it isn't going anywhere. Yes, I know there is an element of oneitis about this, but it isn't so much that i am in love with this girl (I'm not), the problem is that any girls I meet now just don't compare to her and I think 'whats the point?'. Going to McDonalds just isn't the same once you know what a good steak tastes like, right? I know I was lucky to have had the experience with this girl, but at what cost? |

There is no such thing as an HB10, everyone has flaws. But I think there are only really two things that you can do:Yes, I know there is an element of oneitis about this, but it isn't so much that i am in love with this girl (I'm not), the problem is that any girls I meet now just don't compare to her and I think 'whats the point?'. Going to McDonalds just isn't the same once you know what a good steak tastes like, right? I know I was lucky to have had the experience with this girl, but at what cost? 1. Go for her, even if it is long distance and try to have a relationship with her - because if no one else compares then its stupid to let her go 2. Or you could just keep meeting with and getting new women - who knows, they might not compare to her physically - but I'm pretty sure you'll find someone who's better than her as the whole package - personality, interests AND looks |

I kind of felt the same as you, I broke up with my girlfriend after 7 years and thought I wouldn't find anyone better, like absolutely gorgeous, a gymnast, extremely popular, going to one of the best universities in England now as well. Thought that was it, kept moving onto better though, I feel like it again now though after the last girl I ended with. Literally one of the most attractive girls I've seen in person and incredibly nice as well. What I'm getting at is there's always better girls out there, I thought I wouldn't find anyone as good as my first girlfriend, then I met another girl who was very similar and even cuter. Think of the flaws this hb10 had and just concentrate on those. Even when you find a new girl your brain will convince you that she's better then hb10, its just how we work, when we make a decision we'll usually convince ourselves it was the right decision to make, and ignore the faults. |

I've been through this. Nevermind the cost, it all comes at a price. It doesn't matter. Just keep heading forward. You'll only think 'meh, whats the point' when you're thinking about the time spend with her (the past), prior to talking to a random stranger. Not the actual moment you're talking with a girl. Let that shit go. |

no one is replaceable. There is no better, there is no worse. You get 10 different girls lined up in front of you and you are choosing ONE over 9 others because she is BETTER THAN the others. Now, I understand that you've got a kind heart and you're not as abrasive as I am; this is a very good thing. And what you probably mean is that everybody is 'unique'. Sure, some are uniquely fucked up buffoons. Keeping this 'we're all special' mindset is likely to make you WORSE than others. Open your eyes and look around. The World works BECAUSE people are replaceable and there are BETTER and there are WORSE. Excel and work to be better. Seek better people to join you. Urge others to be better. If they want to remain losers and F up their own lives, make sure they do this without you. |

Exactly! There are 3.4 billion women, you're sure to find another one even hotter, younger and smarter if you just keep opening! |

Placing her above any other girl won't get him pretty far either. Because 'meh, what for' is often just an excuse not to do anything. |
