Little bit of Zen. Can you remember the times you wondered about what would give you that extra bit of inner-game? Whether or not your natural frame was solid? Whether you still feared rejection?
Now, isn't that a very strange feeling? To have your own anxieties confirm the situation that they feared!
"I hope I'm a PUA, am I really a PUA? What about that girl in the hallway? She didn't smile when I said "hi"! Maybe I'm not a PUA? Wait, now I'm questioning myself! Bad inner game! I'm not a PUA!

Maybe another example is needed?
In aikido there is a really cool parlour trick/excersise.
Two guys grab hold of a jo staff (a stick) and one guy is told that he has to get the other to let go, and he is shown a simple movement that will force the other guy to let go.
The first time a person does this, they perform the technique wrong and spend 30 seconds or so struggling and fighting for control before someone taps them on the shoulder and tells them.
"Do the motion and forget about the other guy"
The second the newbie focuses just on what he is doing and ignores the other persons hands gripped to the staff, his body posture improves 10 fold, his feet and hands work in sync and the other person stumbles backwards losing their balance and their grip on the stick.
It's a beautiful example of humans giving themselves a problem with their problem. Two for the price of one, the shittiest deal around.
