ok simply,
ex girlfriend said, tell your new girlfriend i said goodluck.

and knowing her, this was meant in the most smartass way possible.

so im either just gonna ignore the fuck out of her, coz its obviously getting to her if she is being immature about i. or can anyone think what a good comeback is to say to that? :\

i was thinking

we both already have goodluck :) we found eachother :)

hahaha that would realllyy get her i think.

anyway whats a good one?

These are childish games. It's unfortunate when two people hold hostility against each other after a break up, but it happens; in this case, the best thing to do is to take a clean break.

She made a snide comment? Let it go.

Instead of spending so much energy on thinking up the perfect comeback that will "realllyy get her", you should take some time to ask yourself why you still feel this need for revenge... this urge to hurt her back...

So it didn't end on the best of terms... forgive her and move on.

Although I do agree with roz and the whole 'move on' thing.

but:

You should know that brevity is the soul of wit.

simply replying 'sure' or 'will do' will get to her more than you TRYING to throw hot coals at her.

Yea man Vaj is bang on saying something simple like "will do" or "Thank You" will work best. Try not to be bitter because an ex that your still on good terms with can give you pretty solid social value, if say things dont work.

ExGF :" tell your new girlfriend i said goodluck."
You : "And?"
ExGF : (Any reply)
You : "Why are you telling me this?"
ExGF : (Any reply)
You : I'm soooo glad you said that (waving finger in her face and walking away with a smile)

"Oh jeeze . . . After the way our relationship went, I think about that too. Yeah, ____ is a brave soul. LOL . . . I'm sorry I was such a pain in the ass." (Pull her hand into you and give her a big hug and a smooch on the cheek)

- Guys, if you're in this forum, you are at the very least aspiring puas. Your job is to expand and enlarge your fuck pool, not reduce it. This is the one time you can pull the violin and play some cheese.

Its a frame collapse, she might be angry with the other replies and want to cause mischief in the future, by creating uncertainty it inoculates against this. Milton Erickson used it with patients who were paranoid and vindictive and likely to harm their perceived persecuters. By accepting his frame it eliminates any cognitive dissonance.
