here is my story.
first off, i am no pua, i am a RAFC, but i've been reading and learning. i'm not in any real big hurry to apply this stuff because i just got out of a bad relationship (caused by my AFC'ness) after a bad longterm relationship (caused by my AFC'ness). but i do want to learn, not so much to pick up girls, but how to better present myself and have the social skills should i choose to do so. y'know?
anyway, i wish this was a story about me picking up some uber-hot HB10 and indulging in a night of debauchery. but it's not.
instead, it's the story of a guy who would classify himself as good-looking and in shape with a decent income, but who is painfully shy and socially inept. this chronicles one interaction. literally, my first attempt at applying any of the techniques discussed on this site.
so, a couple weeks back after i began to read in earnest on this website, i went into this gas station on the way to work where i usually stop in to get a coffee. the girl working is a HB9 easily. i approach the counter thinking (be confident), she doesn't make eye contact (she is acting busy), i don't wait and i immediately engage her in friendly conversation (three second rule), she kind of gives me the cold shoulder (bitch shield?), haha i am undeterred and carry on with my conversation, smiling and making lots of eye contact, even leaning in closer on the counter and "focusing" on her, y'know? then something happens, there seems to be a switch in her energy, and she starts talking with me, i'm like "hey, i've gotta run. it was REALLY cool talking with you." she waves and says bye.
so, i walk out, like ... OH MY GAWWWEEED ... wtf just happened. because i don't approach women. never have. i end up fucking the crazy ones that hunt me down.
anyway, here is the thing. like i said. i was not attempting to pick this girl up. instead, i was attempting to use a few of the techniques i had read about here and kind of run a real basic field test for beginners. i was pretty shocked at the results.
so, this was weeks ago. and all i did was talk to the girl, y'know?
so, i go back in there yesterday, and she is working. she immediately makes eye contact with me, and i immediately make it right back, and wave, then i go get my stuff i'm gonna buy and head to the counter. there are two lanes. i'm like ten feet away and she goes "i can help you HERE". (haha). alright then. so i go over to her aisle, and this was actually hilarious to me...in her best phone sex operator voice she goes "heeeeyyyyyyyyy". i almost laughed (which would have been a seriously bad move, but i almost did). however, the thought of potentially wetting my willy in this HB9 drove all thoughts of laughing immediately from my head.
we chatted for a minute. i was friendly, but cool, as i am not attempting to pick this girl up, y'know, it was just a field test.
there was no bitch shield this time, body language was titties pointing at me the entire time, standing right close to the counter, chatting me up. i took off and she legitimately seemed disappointed. i think i actually got the doggie dinner bowl look and she was like "well.....bye".
haha, wtf. am i going to have to pick up and nail this girl now?
to finish what i've started... i don't want to (sarcasm), but i may have to take one for the team, idk.i just wanted to post this for any RAFC's out there, i know for you pua's and mpua's this probably wasn't a good read, but for a guy like me who just doesn't get this sort of reactions from the opposite sex, this was absolutely an amazing interaction.
