yes you read that right, if you think Mystery, Deangelo, Jeffries, RSD etc are cutting edge and bringing something new to world of male-female relations guess again. It used to be in the public school systems over 40 years ago.

Back in the 50s-early 60s there were a ton of black and white films made for the school systems detailing how teenage girls and boys were to interact and how to appropriately attract, approach and treat each other.

It obvously was not called pick up and the focus was not on how to get same-night-lays but it was a sincere effort to teach young men and women how to bridge the gap between them and function in a male-female society. This was often the subjects of Home Ec, Human Relations and Family Living classes.

If you have ever seen any of these films they are very corny and campy but their content and structure was right on the money with Mystery, Deangelo etc in that they would detail on what people find attractive and what traits are desirable in a mate and they would detail on how a boy should approach and court a girl and how to ask her to the big school dance and out on a date and how to intermingle boy groups of friends with girl groups of friends etc.

It was all there attraction, approach, DHVing, comfort and rapport etc. the thing it did not have was how to pick up and fuck a girl the same night. HOWEVER they did state how to keep from "getting into trouble" and that was to keep your hands to yourself (do not do kino) do not get to flirty or make any sexual innuendos or discuss sexual topics (do not escalate) stay in public and stay with the group (do not isolate) etc etc

So in essance one could extrapolate that what these films told you NOT to do, if you did that you would be fucking.

After reading a lot of the posts on this board and reading all the issues that teenage boys are having with girls, IMHO the schools should be going back to that. Some of this PUA crap is basic stuff that guys my age were taught by our parents and families and were part of health, home-living and social studies curriculums. Kids are growing up with good computer, electronic, math and physics skills today but are woefully missing some very basic human interaction knowledge and skills.

Math, physics and computer skills are important but obtaining a supportive and compatable mate is one of, if not the most benificial thing that can occur in someone's life and getting a bad one is one of the most damaging and destructive. Learing these skills is an important part of someone's education as a person.

Yep, those are some of them. They pumped out a million of them back them.

They are corny as hell and at times downright painfull to watch but the concepts and content are the same as the $700 DVD sets by the gurus now.

The main difference in content is the 50s-style of social engineering was an attempt to get people to connnect but NOT have sex untill marriage. In these films there is instructional content on how to avoid and fend off sexual urges and situations.

In many ways 60 YOC and Gunwitch have it right. People have to be taught how NOT to have sex and how to keep from being sexually stimulated. Reverse our social engineering and remove the social, religious and moral programing that people have and everyone is going to be fucking like rabbits.

They used to show this shit on USA networks "Up All Night" back in the late 80s as a comedy relief between movies. I betcha Mystery and Deangelo used to watch this stuff as kids after mommy and daddy went to bed and figured they could update the material and add some modern terms and dialogue and make a million bucks.

The real irony is Kids were forced to watch this stuff in school a couple generations and now they pay big bucks for it LOL

Honestly I think it would be a great asset to make this a requirement like Health and Phys Ed is. Speaking for America, especially in New York, most of us do not know how to communicate properly. Especially through body language, let alone through verbal communications.
