Anyone else ever feel like this? I've taken some time off this website. I just wanted to be a natural. I read all these threads here, and I swear humans are turning into computers trying to over analyze each situation and shit. Is that healthy? You should be completely yourself, and if she doesn't like it, game other women. I dunno... I think the general methods are good to know. Especially if you have no game experience, you should do some reading to get some background info. Just don't turn into some program written to game women lol. Ever since I do what my gut is telling me, I feel more confident. No 2nd guessing on whether I should say something or not. Say/do whatever feels right... WHO CARES! |

I hear what your saying man. My thing is I want to talk to women. My Approach Anxiety is gone. So I have my 3 second rule which works like clock work; however, my thing is- what to say. I feel stuck on opening and continuing the conversation. So definitely learning the root methods for me is key if I want to enjoy my 20's. |

It's part of the reason I started getting more into RSD's stuff, it's more natural and piques my interest in Phsycology more, I was feeling like a robot at times and over-analysing stuff, with RSD I quickly learnt to just have fun and roll with it, and then come back and see what I can improve on next. Just makes more sense to me. |

i think it boils down to style some people are better being instructed what to look for and what to say. At least i would imagine it for someone that is totally new to the game that is not a natural they need some pointers so starting off it isn't a bad idea. as you go along on your adventures you pick things up, you no longer need routines, you may not need to peacock as much etc. you formulate your own plans, routines, etc. Thats when it becomes natural to you and your game improves. |

Sounds good in theory, but that's not how society works. Some guys need major adjustments in personality, apperance, and lifestyle to fit in and ever hope to attract one of the 90% of women who find mainstream values important. However, after learning to be part of the world, I agree the material should be for reference only. |

Nope, simply fitting in won't do for a pua. However, after learning to be part of the world, I agree the material should be for reference only. I find this a rather retarded statement. Fitting in with all the other people makes you just another boring herd-following human being. Boring. Nobody is going to romantically chase a regular Joe. Social conditioning, throughout life people (look at ads, hollywood movies, shit you hear on the radio) will tell you how to act and behave. This normally is some unharmful idealistic thought, but it can quickly turn into you being expected to behave like a sheep. Because stepping outside the herd=bad things will happen to you. The whole POINT of PICK UP is to STEP OUT OF THE HERD and BEND the social norms. Doing this will cause you to life your OWN life, instead of the life your society has planned out for you. Fitting in simply won't do. As it's generic. And if something is generic, it is without a doubt BORING. And being boring AIN'T attractive. You sir, are an idiot. |

I think it's good to read different methods and approach, and add what you think is relevant to YOUR method. You need to analyse, read between lines, figure out the concept and adapt it to your personality. Or you'll run out of content. It's really important to understand the concept and not learn every single routines... I really think the way to go and not to get busted is to run a natural game. |

For me, in the end this all is summed up by Bruce Lee's "Take what's useful, reject what's useless." |
