I know this is a bit contraversial, but here what I noticed. Sometimes among girls I approach there are girls with insecurities. Although girls themselves might be great, sometimes I find out that by playing "alpha too much" I might scare some of them off. One thing is that I've had a girl not believe that I'm serious, if I decided to date her-they looked at it as if i'm trying to play them- I never do that, but that's besides the point. Sometimes girls start thinking something like "he is too good for me"-I'm not kidding-that happened to me like 3-4 times in the last 6 months. later, I saw these girls getting into relationships with real AFCs. So I thought...maybe sometimes you should show that you're not such a superhuman after all and DLV a bit. What comes to my mind is telling heartbreaking story from your life to present yourself as a sensitive guy+ we all have weak moments in our lives...why not put them to good use?... I would LOVE to hear your opinions on this. Just trying my best to contribute to the community. |

MM covers this topic about using these types of vulnerability stories in comfort phase.

Yeah... that happens a lot. Not all girls are bitchy models. Some of them are insecure. You have to show some vulnerability. I also found out that a good way to show you're human is to DHV with something like a story of some charity you did or a story showing you take care of your family. That's a DHV but it also makes you more human. Remember: Superman is not a superhero because of all the super powers. It's because of cryptonite that humanizes him, so people can relate. |

Displaying subtle hints of vulnerability and self-deprecation should be done by EVERYONE. It adds a human and emotional edge to your personality that women love. No one is confident EVERY SINGLE SECOND of every single day, and having the humility to show some insecurity every now and then is HUMAN and makes you more attractive to MOST women. I too have had women who I was interested in end up with complete AFCs, only to tell me much later that they thought they wouldn't be able to keep up with me in a relationship. If I had only knocked myself down a half a peg things would have been different. The best DLV I've found is saying that you're a nerd of some sort. I'm personally hugely into Star Wars, and Legos. Girls LOVE hearing about this, because it contrasts so heavily with the rest of my personality. |

it's "sales" just like in a job interview, the interviewer asks you "what is your biggest weakness?" you have to state a weakness, but spin it in a positive, win-win |
