Way I see it this is just part of a forum that's there to bang women. Since people view it as a whole status thing it's no surprise ego kicks in and people start acting different than they are.

Especially since it's on the internet.

Aslong it's a pick up forum, people will come busting in trying to get some status for themselves going on. Yet all seem to forget it's merely the internet. And the internet doesn't do much for your real-life status. And let's be honest, nobody likes the guy that talks about women to get respect from his buddies.

I don't mind it, it just means there will always be people for me to tool.

Recognise this pattern?

1. Suck at life.
2. Read a book about not sucking at life.
3. Do some mental excersises to convince yourself that you don't suck.
4. Suck at life.
5. People piss on your head.
6. Convince yourself that other peoples opinions don't matter.
7. People laugh in your face.
8. Wonder why you still feel like shit and suck at life.

I get your opinion Fin, you find a lot strange and awkward people here but what are you going to do about it? You can't just be a dictator and ban everyone you see as a noob.

It is the people with serious anxiety problems or major insecurities who pay for PU. PU lives on them. Saying that this is not for them wouldn't be very wise for the community.

The best you can do to my opinion is just ignore or laugh with it.

1. I can think of three fakes that existed on this forum in the past year alone that were being respected and listened to, until someone called them out. There are 17 year olds with 6 months experience and some number closes to their name hanging out in the newbie areas so that they can give their wild stab of an opinion and have new guy wank them off with "Great advice man!" Seriously, I would ask more experienced members to bust the balls of anyone who is trying to set them selves up as teacher figures. It's a dickish move I know, but it's the only way to purge out impurity. 2. The ridiculous trend of self-confidence. Recognise this pattern? 1. Suck at life. 2. I don't mind it, it just means there will always be people for me to tool. "It's just the internet"- What is the internet? It's a communication device, if you're going to make this place, a place where people can discuss things and teach things then you have to sift out the shit. We've had problems on this site before with this kind of thing, and no doubt as you've mentioned we'll get it in the future, but we can deal with these things and you can minimise it.

It's all about perspective.A desperate afc will read some stuff and EXPECT something to happen.They write some shitty post about some pick up attempt and can't take it if people laugh at them.I know that because i was there... Like you said,many AFCs need more help than PUA can offer(over the internet at least)the trick is to don't give a fuck about anything.So many times an AFC knows what he has to do,how and when,but he simply doesen't.It's because all his life his perception was distorted,so if you are a PUA and alwajs was,you can't understand how the world looks for someone like that. How did I manage to overcome the situation?simple...just do stuff.I don't think about it,what will she say,what will happen...i just do think.And it's hard,i am reminded every day by so many negative energies that "i suck". My advice?chill out,and make a plan.A little plan(do 5 approaches a day).And do it!Don't think about it,remember that when you where chilled out you deduced that nothing bad can happen,so what is the difference? well,now you are there,and it's happening... That just my opinion.

The real problem is they have no idea whats good advice and whats bad advice, so when a new guy grows up and hasn't learnt to leave teaching to people who actually KNOW what they are doing, that's is where the problem lies. If you want to help people out that's tottaly fine, the first issue is concerning what happens when people start making assertions about truth and no one questions it. 2. Again, confidence is fine, but the tren we have here is an impractical pseudo method of gaining confidence. I.e. Just trying to think yourself confident. The result, alot of inner game junkies who's self esteem is in the pits and they can't figure out why. 3. This stuff CAN fuck you up, (why do you think so many people rail against MM? Why do you think Gambler refuses to take on students younger than 21? hint: age of consent in the uk is 16) Relying on the community to solve your major problems which you should be seeing a therapist for, or being prescribed meds is not a good idea. We are not trained in how to deal with major anxieties or large scale insecurities, heck, we are not trained at all.
