Theres a lot of people here who are getting successes, myself included, and there's so many techniques, routines, openers, styles etc out there, so for anyone new, it can be daunting. However, what I'm hoping is that they read this and reconise that for a lot of us here, it is working through various methods and so on.
So, what is YOUR preffered Method/s and routines? Your favourite pick up, lines, routines, etc? Do you use Natural Game or canned material? Who's your favourite PUA and who inspired you? This is your forum, speak your minds and share.
I'll start.
When I started I exclusivly used the "Mystery Method" only because I didn't trust alot of other methods or techniques for some reason, I'd just come off reading the Game by Neil Struass and regarded Mystery to be the best and no one else mattered.
That was such an arrogant thing to think and I am ashamed that I was so close-minded at that stage. I started looking at RSD one night after randomly reading about Tyler Durden one night and remember reading about a fantastic routine he did whilst in Project Hollywood in the Game (For those that have read it, it''s the one in the coffee shop where he gets the girl serving him to close her eyes and he jumped over and kissed her, then walked away, leaving her to just think WOW!). The RSD stuff fancinated me and opened my eyes to other methods and to be honest the Mystery Method was starting to feel stale and slightly robotic (I didn't change up anything I did, I stuck with the same 3 openers, stories, routines etc).
I watched "Flawless Natural" after Tim from RSD impressed me in "Transformations" and his game was so easy to get into and I started experimenting with it and was seeing far better results from that. I'm still a novice to all this and I'm reading through and practising and calibrating all the time, I'll never learn it all but I'm taking stuff from everywhere and applying not the best stuff but the stuff that applies to me and my styles. I still do use the Mystery Method in it's basic M3 model because I still think it's solid, but I'm flowing a hell of alot more easier into natural stuff.
Recently as last week I found the Pickup Podcast when I randomly typed pick up into iTunes and it's fantastic, I implore everyone to listen to it, it's taught me more stuff in a week then 3 months of solid reading did, and now I can't wait to go out every weekend just to try stuff out, even if I get nothing. This is not a results game, it's about having fun!
My favourite PUA will always be Mystery just because it was his writing that started all this, but I love alot of stuff from so many guys and girls out there, too many to list. I liked the stuff that a non-PUA wrote, I recommend everyone read Tucker Max's 2 books "I Hope they Serve Beer in Hell" and "Assholes Finish First" for some reason they helped with natural game and of course Barney Stinson (Neil Patrick Harris - How I Met Your Mother) who I tried to emulate a few times (with success I may add
