This is something most of us have experienced in PU journey. After seeing many questions about the dreaded LJBF and having been LJBFed in the past myself, I thought about sharing my views on this particular topic. In my opinion there are basically three things that can happen. 1. You are afraid to escalate and continue fluff talk, forever. This happens when you are afraid that if you move too fast then the girl will know that you are trying t pick her up and that fear keeps you from trying to escalate until it’s already too late. You want to play safe and forget that if you don't make your intentions know to her, she will eventually strike you off as a potential bf even though she may have liked you initially. 2. You escalate too much too soon in an awkward manner and scare the girl away. This happens when you escalate abstractly and try to go for the kiss close without setting the platform prior to it, this is absolutely going to overwhelm her. Lack of gradual escalation is a definite recipe for disaster. So I believe doing it wrong and failing is better than not doing anything at all, at least you get the experience. 3. You observe her responses and escalate accordingly. This is the ideal scenario. This is when you calibrate the girl to perfection. You know what you are doing and are in total control of the interaction. If you can do this then you are in. Now to acquire the skill of the third scenario requires time and practice. If you are relatively new and finding it difficult to escape LJBF, then it’s up to you to decide if you want to be the person in the first scenario who gets thrown in the friend zone(ruthlessly!) or the daredevil like in the second , at least you will not repent for not taking your chances. This my take on LJBF, throw in your ideas about getting out of and/or avoiding LJBF. |
