(A) Indirect Method (e.g. MM3) - you can cold approach ANY set and CREATE attraction in almost all women if you do it right, by raising your value using DHV stories, false disqualifiers/negs/rapport breaks, and then you isolate, build comfort and sexually escalate (B) Direct Method (e.g. 60, Gunwitch) - either she's attracted to you or not. Game is just about sexually escalating correctly with girls with whom it's already ON. Value based game is pointless and the attraction phase is a waste of time that girls who are already attracted to you are letting you run because they're cutting you some slack. (C) Some other method. |

Let me make something clear... Methods like 60 and GWM are not "direct" methods. Direct = verbalizing your sexual intent from open. Methods like GWM do not involve verbalizing sexual intent. In fact, GW tells you specifically NOT to do so. I remember in an interview he did once he said that his method was probably the most indirect approach ever. Just because you end actually end up seducing the girl and having sex with her doesn't make it "direct"

I dunno. I think direct is more verbalising that you're interested in THEM, whereas indirect is just pretending like you're asking the closest random person. It doesn't necessarily have to be telegraphing instant sexual intent from the start. For example, opening with a compliment about her clothing style is direct, yet it isn't necessarily sexual. |

Direct game =/= she is either into you or not. *Facepalm* Edit: I disagree with the notion of "right".. these are competing theorie, they are approaches/paradigms. There are a good couple of people on this forum alone who use both direct and indirect game, good sarging within either model works largely on the same principles. |

Trying to categorize different pickup styles as either direct or indirect is more often than not mental masturbation, IMO |

GWM is not direct. It's indirect while projeting sexual state. IMHO, there's no right one. I think it's good to be direct if you're out of time and she's alone. If you're out to socialize and get girls in the process then go indirect in groups. |
