I keep reading about people approaching HB 8s and 9s and 7s even. But no-one seems to admit approaching an HB5 or 6. (or less) Perhaps our views on what consitutes an HB ranking is different but I get the feeling people are overvaluing their HB ranks somewhat.... particualry first timers. Now for me, when I picture an HB5 I have in my head a slim girl with smallish tits and a cute face with a couple of zits here and there. This is about average. (perhaps renee zellwegger) Here's roughly what I imagine for the rankings. This is how I would take the best of the best, the worst of the worst and divide it up fairly in 10 segments. HB10: Jessica Alba or the girl from pussy cat dolls. HB9: Christina Aguilera or Tera Patrick HB8: Kate Moss / victoria Beckham HB7: Jennifer Aniston (now) / Mariah Carey HB6: Fergie from Black eyed peas HB5: Renee Zellwegger HB4: Britney Spears (now) / America Ferreira HB3: (are they still in fact referred to as HBs?) ellen Degeneres HB2: Hilary Clinton HB1: Rhea Pearlman I this how is works? What are your thoughts? |

Yeah.... I think people use those numbers pretty subjectively. If someone on here says, HB10, then I would probably disagree with that ranking. I personally don't even consider Jessica Alba a HB10. I would give her a 8.5-9. This isn't about being picky.... but the point of have a 1-10 scale is that 10 is the best of the best. In my town alone, I can think of several chicks that are hotter than Jessica Alba (not to mention better personalities). So this poses a problem. If they were truly 10s, then you wouldn't be able to find so many other HBs that outrank them. And I think you're right.... a lot of it is for new guys, and as they develop, their scale will adjust accordingly. Ultimately, its not a big deal.... every guy has different tastes, so this scale is totally subjective. But put it this way. Go to the club three times in one week..... if you see more than three total HB10s the entire week, then your scale is probably broken (unless you're in South Beach). But no big deal. Happy sarging...... |

I never refer to a woman as a number because their are women I'm into and those I'm not. Nothing in between. |

I agree that this should be the case on a personal level. But rating someone is useful on a practical level as well. You would not game the HB6 the same way as you would the HB10. There are very significant sociological differences between the various levels that are a direct result of those levels. For instance, negging would be more likely to be effective when the target is a HB10. This is because they, as HB10s, are used to being validated by AFCs via compliments, favors, and other displays of lower value. They respond to negs primarily because they are not used to being treated as if they are not special and having their flaws acknowledged. In this case, a neg would be a very appropriate DHV because it is first lowering her value. However, the HB6 is often passed up for the HB10 and as a result may suffer from lower confidence despite having her fair share of male attention. While negs would be effective as a DHV, you could possibly be even more effective by using standard C&F and other forms of DHV that focus the attention on you displaying your higher value rather than using negs which would focus on her. And HB6 would be less in need of having her value lowered and would be naturally more receptive to accepting your DHV without the need to first have her value lowered. I realize that the whole system of ranking targets seems shallow and superficial to those outside the community, and that's understandable. But when you really delve into the psychology involved, and the adaptation required, you realize that it's very necessary and not simply a pissing contest or trophy to add to the wall. |

This is seriously dependent on the amount of alcohol consumed, your nightly time constraint (i.e how close till last call)and a PUA's stats, the lower the numbers(newbie's) the higher on the HB scale the chic will become. Very subjective to each person I guess. I prefer brunette's over blondes so they will naturally rate a tab bit higher by default on my scale, it's different strokes for different folks! You got it down pretty well on that scale with a few exceptions lol Rhea Pearlman is a straight UG son! lol |

I remember one day a friend and I walked down a large busy beach and just gawked at girls (like AFC's) and rated everyone of them together. The highest we agreed on was a single HB8. So I'm thinkin' that when you get to the HB9+ area it's all subjective. Personally, I'm into the cute petite blond type with smaller breasts. What most people would call a HB8, to me is actually a HB10. But its an interesting question if I should apply my game to them like there HB10's or rather HB8's? I think you have to develop as device of how society perceives them rather than how you perceive them. This is because their level of social skills, bitch shield, and ASD is going to be completely dependant on how society treated them all their life (as HB8's in this example). Other rather, you also have to monitor your inner game because your going to react differently (as a rAFC) to a women you think is absolutely beautiful, than one that falls kinda short of your 'ideal'. As for me, I only go after HB7.5 and above. There's no challenge in HB6's because their game isn't as hard as >HB8's. Plus the lower on the scale they are the more "clingy" and "needy" they're going to be in the day 2's. Make for a harder escape (if your the hit it and quit it type). |

Its really a matter a personal preference and that's about all it comes down to. I'm not really big into the "blonde bombshell" look that a lot of guys go into and I know people who say that when she was in her prime Pamela Anderson was a 10, but I say the best she ever got was a 7. Jessica Alba used to be the hottest chick I had ever seen back when she was in the first season of Dark Angel and I would have given her an 11, but now she's like a 7. My friend who's bi says this chick I was dancing with last weekend was a 4, but I was pretty much sober and I thought she was a 7.5, but toss in her personality and I'd easily give her an 8. Its all about what you look for, and what your mindset is at the time too, because your taste will vary over just a couple years, if not months. |
