"stranger |ˈstrānjər| |ˈstreɪndʒər| |ˈstreɪn(d)ʒə| noun a person whom one does not know or with whom one is not familiar" PU by definition is meeting strangers and making the best attempt to sleep with that person. However, I am not posting this to state the obvious, rather I'd like to make an interesting phenomenon evident: Often times, in public, I will notice that I see a good amount of women who are attractive. Until recently I was unable to figure out why this seemed to happen more often in public than in a private setting, such as a college party. Even though there were still attractive women at parties, clubs, and other private social events, there seemed to be an overwhelmingly larger percentage of attractive women in public settings (in the city, on the subway, etc.). Only this past weekend, while attending a college party, I realized why this illusion occurs. I found a HB8 sitting with her two friends (who were around a 7 and a 5) and I decided to work on the HB8. After talking to her for some time I started to notice some flaws in her appearance; moreover, I decided that I didn't like her personality (she was a bitch). SUDENLY, she dropped from a HB8 to a 6. My sudden epiphany may have been a result of my intoxication, but nonetheless I was certain that she would have stayed attractive had she kept her mouth shut. In other words, once I got a feeling for who she was I was turned off. Therefore, when in public we see only appearance; personality doesn't have any affect on our attraction. However, when in private we talk to people and get to know them and their personalities. The bottom line is: personality affects attraction to a large degree. Not a new concept, rather a new way of looking at it. From here-forth I would like to coin this effect: “The Stranger Effect” |

the stranger effect exemplifies the main afc problems afc trait #1: i let women believe their beauty/bodies can affect me afc trait #2: i do not know what i want, i just want to put it in something dark and moist afc trait #3: personality is not the most important thing in the world to me try judging a book by it's cover.. it's the fastest way to learn |
