hi man. I know what you mean. it's the worst feeling ever. i've head that for a long time, and sometimes i still do.

are you stuck in your head in the field or in everyday life?

the solution for both imho is being active and building momentum. join the gym and have active life. just go out for the walk, it helps. as for "stuck in your head in the field" i've had that when i was studying the whole day and going out solo sarging. many times i would come home without opening a single set. now i always do something social before i go out, or just talk on the phone with someone for half an hour. the idea is getting in that TALKATIVE STATE. from there it goes much easier. sets just open itself. and you find yourself not using routines, just having fun, and knowing what you strategically need to do.

don't beat yourself up. know that "stuck in your head" is not your trait, it's just state you put yourself into. and inertia is something we all have. once you build momentum nothing will stand in your way. when you're already going to the gym/field for a while and you've broken that muscle barrier/open first set it's actually harder to stay home that to go out.

one more thing. when i had this problem, i've found this signature from one of the guys here on forum. "You are NOT your mind. Detach yourself from it."

good luck!
