Post subject:  Very emotional when I'm at bars/clubs

I'm new to the forum. Let me tell you a bit about myself first. I'm sociology/psychology major. I live in NJ, and I'm here to work on my game. So hopefully I can get some intelligent answers back now that I got that out of the way.

I wanted to know if anyone out there had problems being too emotional at bars and clubs. Right now I dont fully consider it a problem, because I feel its just a part of who I am, I've been that way all my life (but whos to say I wasn't stuck in being a child my whole life also). I am very happy and energetic and I love dancing etc. It seems that alcohol makes the problem worse because I have less intelligent things to say to girls. But I feel like I'm just naturally way too happy when I go out to bars and I think that it might be lowering my value when I'm around people. But maybe I'm thinking about it the wrong way. Maybe some girls will like a guy that smiles all the time and some wont. Or maybe it is really a demonstration of higher value because I'm so confident and happy about life and being in the situation. But I'm asking it to people in here who have experienced this before because maybe it could possibly just be a stage that I'm going through that will pass once I fix some other problems.

Do you think it is a problem or nothing to worry about? Any opinions?

at least you smile, go into a club and just take a look around, half of the guys are sitting on the walls just staring and NOT smiling

thats worse than anything you just said

go over some openers, develop your own because alot of these are canned and girls know of some

learn the right times to neg and DHV, know when to kino and make good transitions

also, with the alcohol, you can go to the bar, grab a beer, but dont get drunk, thats seems like a problem with alot of guys including myself

im not old enough for the bars yet, Im 19, but at parties once i get alot of drinks in me, i just start blabbing about bullshit

Ok read the MM. One part in there will tell you dont drink when sarging. Period. Because you will notice your game alot better. If you walk into the room and you are happy and outgoing, you will own the room before long. I think you should relax a bit once in set, and stop smiling so much, but none the less keep light hearted. I think your background in psycology and sociology are causing you ot over think simple things though. Relax and have fun, that is what your there to do. Dont go out on a mission to leave with a girl or get a number or anything. If you set goals like that, you will get discouraged if you fail. Go out to have fun, and whatever happens happens. Just dont overthink everything any you should be golden.... I dont think you have a problem, I think you are on a good path to excelence..

as xxIcexx said, being happy is WAY better than not being happy, so it's definantly a DHV, as for alchohal. don't use it, it throws off your game, and that's why luckyman always says, don't use drugs or alchohal. anyways, smiling is something i find so hard to do is to smile, mine is terrible, even though i use it often, it still helps, so most of the time... smile.

I think you're fine. You sound a lot like me. What I did was cut out the heavy alcohol and I just drank light beer. I love to drink heavy so I really need to watch it. Also, make a consious effort to lower your energy level close to the girls level.

As long as you are a happy go lucky type guy your vibe will really work wonders for you. Women feed off of positive vibes.
