Post subject:  Will The Film Kill The Game ???

Hello Hollywood

I heared that the cinema version of "The Game", is now coming out as a film based, on the book, by niels strauss. I really don't think the film will benefit the PUA society in any way. The possibility that the film is a hollywood blockbuster is definetly there. It will basically show the tactics, strategy's, cocky funny routines, basically everything. It's hard to believie that sarging will easier after that.

If your game is solid u will probably cope fine, but if u relie on ther book, routines and patterns - it will be difiicult- at least till the film is forgotten....

This could be it?

at least for some.....

Cheers

a film can only show so much, and hollywood wants to make money out of anything anyways. there are movies about bodybuilding and people still don't know how to train, there are movies about being a Don Juan and people still don't know how to do it, there are movies about how to be cool in high school and people are not cool in high school. The point is, no matter what movies come out, they will not destroy the community.

I think it will be as simple as avoiding specific lines and stuff that appears on the movie. As well, who said girls don't like guys who learn about how to better treat them? We are not seducers...we are attractors.

As long as they avoid peacocking, ex-girlfriend opener, my maths magic trick, the cube, best friends test and evolution-shift... I don't give a shit.

i don't want to upset any of you but after the movie comes out a good thing and a bad thing will happen the good thing is more social retards turn themselves to PUAs and the bad thing is that it is very likely that they will use best friend test, jelous girlfriend opener and cube even worse MM and David D. might become household names and woman might figure out a way to find out if we're using pick up tell you the truth i'm scared. :?

breaking news, guys try to conquer women and get to fuck them.
to do so, they will be nice, buy drinks, flowers, and all sorts of things.

guys...c'mon...a movie is not going to harm us. not if we are smart enough to watch the movie and avoid doing anything that looks too much like the movie. Besides, there are thousands of love movies and soap operas where you can find cocly and funny, witty, macho alpha and all sorts of things we discuss in here. The truth is that what we have here is not a secret at all, just a more systematized form of learning it and that is all.

Before knowing what PUA was I already had the intuition that too much interest ruins your chances with a girl, that being a wuss doesn't help, that being cocky and a leader helps, etc.

I remain tranquil.

Any movie about the game will have fairly little to SAY about any of our techniques, short of using the Talk to the Camera approach to explain every nuance of a pick-up. Which they could do, and I could see being quite entertaining.

Here's the real good thing about such a movie: it will force us to become more creative. We'll have to find new techniques, new routines, and build a whole new set of pick-up technology. Yay! Creativity rocks.

The bad thing is that girls are going to know you're picking them up. And it's not really a bad thing. My pivot and I have had an interesting conversation about it, and we've determined that, even if you completely understand how it's working, it STILL WORKS. In fact, it works better because it becomes a "game," in name and in fact. I have a field report and a lay report I need to post at some point that will illustrate this fact more clearly, I think. I don't have access to them at the moment, but when I do, I'll post them.

Not to worry guys. If anything, this is going to be even MORE fun.

The only thing I am worried about is the onslaught of PUA that will pour into the community, if this movie is made. I mean look at what Fast and the Furious did to the sport compact world. Now every teen with a honda things his Vin Diesel. But at the same time, I like what some other guys are commenting on about how it will make us become more creative and have to outwit other PUAs. Exactly like the street racers before Fast and the Furious had to become better then the pouring in of people into "their" community. We ourselves must evolve and become better.

All Im worried about the loss of opinion openers. I havent heard any new about a for sure movie version of the book yet, style would have said something.

I can't see there being a loss of opinion openers though. When you go out and use an opinion opener you do not have to use the exact same openner each time with a different set. Spice it up abit come up with new openners that will challenge your target or the set in which they will bring you into there group, or where she will become interested and want to stay and converse.

The cream always rises to the top. As if there aren't too many wannabe PUA's as it is, the lifestyle will go mainstream. Actually, it already has. Need proof? There's a book called "The Game." So every guy at a bar is going to be spitting openers from the movie and the book, right? Well, it happens all the time right now. How many AFC's walk up and ask a girl if she wants a drink or compliments her on how hot she is? Those who are true to the game will evolve and grow. The spotlight on the community will be brighter, yes, but few actually have the marbles to do something about it. A movie and a book won't give you a personality and a tight inner game. That only comes from failing many, many times and taking something away from each mistake. Stop worrying about others and focus on bettering yourself.

Opinion openers will be known. Even diffrent opinion openers wont work, a girl will know any opinion a guy asks randomly will be a pu attempt. Im figuring by the time the movie comes out I will have been able to accomplish much in the ways of the PU so I will find ways to get around it. I wonder what mystery thinks, this may invalidate alot of his work (yeah guys already know opinion openers and stuff from the book but more people watch movies than read books, and movies are advertised for)

Um... What's so bad about a girl knowing you want to pick her up?

Guys, understand that this stuff works, even when she knows you're doing it. If she calls you on it, it's just another shit test. Be creative. Learn to deal with the consequences of a called game and bring her back to rapport building. The problem with opinion openers right now is the Meet and Greet. Every girl in a club is going to call you on "Hey, can I get a female opinion on something?" Just walk, say "Hi!" and ask your question.

You: Hi!
HBSlut: Um... Hi...
You: Is it cool for a dude to wear makeup?

You don't need her permission to get an opinion, and if you back it up with a good enough story, it won't matter how you opened in ten minutes.
