This is going to be a talk about control and unreactiveness, and what it really means and how it really applies. "be unreactive" is crap advice. I'm going to be blunt throughout this post. You've been warned. Why is being unreactive crap advice? Most of the time, it makes you passive and thus lose control "So they test us by CHALLENGING to see if we'll stay in control. The reason I do all of this "Never give a woman a direct answer... unless it's NO... Never give a woman exactly what she wants..."" etc. is, ironically, to give her what she REALLY wants... a man that's in control." David DeAngelo, Double Your Dating Control is an alpha male trait. And it's what most guys lack. Control over their emotions and situations. It's big and has big consequences. The correct term to use instead of unreactiveness is proactiveness. You make others react to YOU and thus places you in control of the interaction. This is why you don't jump through hoops but take the hoop away from her and make her jump through it. Doing this creates tension, and that tension is GOOD if you keep it playful. Shrugging your shoulders at something, sure one or two times it might help. But it gets boring pretty damn fast. Shrug your shoulders and immiediatly making her react is a way better option than just being "unreactive". Cheers. |

Well now this is interesting - because you say "Shrug your shoulders and immiediatly making her react is a way better option". I ask for examples and you reply with "Shit-tests, frame control and hoops." Do you mean to say that we as the gamer should employ shit-tests and hoops for the girl? These effectively result in solid frame control for us. But I find this to be very motivating since I have only ever heard of women shit-testing men, and men having to come up with a good way of responding. How does a guy shit-test a girl? Are there examples out there? Q. |

So you talk about controlling the interaction. In what way? I just feel the idea isn't specific enough. Jav A situation came about last night when i decided not to open a set that WANTED TO BE OPENED. Non reactive behaviour even towards a couple of girls i did not on appearance fancy much as they did not score high enough in the face. 6 And yet i know (gut feeling) after we left i should have opened them. For no other reason other than a hello and goodbye and run some natural full of holes game on them. I am a total prat because i was talking to a friend and had my backed turned to them and forgot they were there. I was being to PASSIVE. (i knew everybody and where they were in that room) I think your point about being passive is well made. I was unreative to the point where (ding dong) hey there are girls over there that need opening. Its no good i will have to deduct a GEEZER point for last night. Not like me at all? I keep thinking about it now. AFC John why were you so passive. I just went out for beers in my local, i was driving, i was clock watching, then had to drive to curry house. Answer. To much on my mind... |
