In my opinion you're all approaching it from the wrong angle.

The first, foremost and most important thing, is what your goal is.

Losers enter an activity with the start in mind - i.e. "What date should I organise?"

Winners enter an activity with the end in mind - i.e. "I'm going to f-close, what's the best way to get there."

So, if we assume your goal is to f-close, then it's pretty irrelevant what the day 2 is. My most recent cold pickup whom I fucked, I day 2'ed her by going round hers and talking for a couple of hours. We then went to the local bar, had a drink, walked around in the cold, bought some cheap chips from a caravan and went back to hers to seal the deal. We didn't even eat the chips. We're good friends and fuck buddies still. The "date" if that's what you want to call it, was still pretty fun. YOU can MAKE it fun. Where you go or what you do is irrelevant.

You may want to do certain things or activities for other reasons though, which is fine. Point is, you should know or define these reasons first.

Oh, and by the way, the cold-approach lay before that was also from a day 2 (I was replenishing my harem, haha), and I took her to see a cinema (Valentines day, what a hot cast), then went back to hers and banged her. We didn't eat dinner again (fuck paying money or wasting time eating when I'd rather be banging her). Point here is, movie is so clichéd etc, but who gives a fuck. Unless you personally are bored of watching movies, then fine. But if you're avoiding movie "dates" just because you think they're clichéd or the girl will find it clichéd, in my opinion, you're approaching it from the wrong angle (this doesn't seem to be the case with the original poster in any case).
