Hey guys I am in bad shape and need some advice. Long story short after a long while of womanizing I finally found one that matters (yes yes I said one, feel free to hop on the pedestal and oneitus train). Long story short there is a guy she likes more and makes it annoyingly obvious. My self-respect won't let me be 2nd place all teh time so I am attempting to wash my hands of her. Enter the problem, for a month or so I have been changing my ways. I convinced myself I want to be in a relationship and that I was a one woman man. Now that things have gone bad with her, my confidence is shot and most women don't seem to live up to her. I can see the mistakes I am making but am powerless to sort them. So yeah I need to get myself rebuilt six million dollar man style. So yeah any advice on how to get my shit together would be awesome |

Read power of the now. Learn not to identify with the context of your world. |

Attraction is basically an investment of time (I'm sure you already know this from reading a different thread). If you stop thinking of them, you stop being so attracted. After a few weeks you'll be asking what you ever saw in them! Easier said than done of course. |

Don't worry man, this is exactly why I do what I do... because 99.9% of guys I have seen in my year in the community hit this point after differing levels of success. Everyone does, this is why I say that the way most go about learning this stuff WILL FAIL YOU... because it does. This is why you need to build yourself a specific way... It's not any harder it's just a little less comfortable initially, but if you ask anyone who has gone through this process of building themselves up then crashing back down, and has to try again how uncomfortable that is? Well I think they'd much rather take a little discomfort at the beginning to avoid that cycle again.Enter the problem, for a month or so I have been changing my ways. I convinced myself I want to be in a relationship and that I was a one woman man. Now that things have gone bad with her, my confidence is shot and most women don't seem to live up to her. Start watching Two and a Half Men!!! That show is great because it shows you the ups and downs of the talented Mr. Sheen and how he ultimately overcomes and conquers. If you're unfamiliar with the show, he's a self-employed womanizing bachelor who constantly drinks, smokes, and gambles. So maybe this isn't the life you want to lead, but you can learn from the show. The best thing is it's on at least twice a day, everyday, and sometimes more. I don't even know the schedule b/c its on so much, try channel 5. Anyways my point is, there was an episode where this happened to him, but the girl was obviously using him just for sex and treating him like shit otherwise, being the little manipulative bitch girls can be. He finally ended his obsession with her when he went to get his self-respect back. Was about to sleep with her and he got her to do all this stuff for him before sex, then basically said fuck you and peaced out. Self-respect in tact. Check. Dominating the bitch. Check. Freedom. Check. Good luck, do what you gotta do. |

Hey man! I understand that you are going through a rough period! Well, I just want you to know that I believe in you. I have read a lot of your posts here and I think that if anyone can get himself out of this shit, it is you! Your skills and stuff are all still there, they are just hidden under your bad feelings. Focus on feeling better and the rest will come. I understand completely. Im not gonna tell you that you have oneitis because I actually believe that you were in love and that is normal. Sometimes there comes along this one girl that it is worth leaving the game for. Good thing is that if the shit hits the fan, you always have a community of bros to come back to. So try to find those things you loved before meeting her and keep busy, dont forget her but pass the memories on to your happy place, think about all the beautiful memories they bring. But accept that life doesnt end with her. I believe that you can do it, and we are here, behind you all the way bro! Much love, Ezo PS. This is not gay! |

Personally i'd drop the whole PUA stuff, i gotta be alpha, ill run a routine and give a last ditch, 'this is me, im real, l like you.' otherwise you'll always think what if! If it works congratulations and send me some flowers for the help! If it doesn't then lean on your mates, moan/talk to them, they will probably have similar stories. Then.... Get back in the field. (just lost a very close 5yr relationship! I know the feeling!) |

Get yourself a Tao Te Ching. ...Fierce winds do not blow all morning; a downpour of rain does not last the day. Who does this? Heaven and earth. If heaven and earth cannot sustain a forced action, how much less is man able to do? Just something to think about Much Love ~Finesse |

Dude! I know the feeling. Nothing makes you feel better about a love lost more than a fresh kill (in the pua sense) Get over your AA and score something. It's not an instant fix but it does start to regenerate your sense of self worth. Get out there and approach! |

What up. Why not go on a trip to somewhere that you can really relax. somewhere new but tranquil where you can take stock of things, and maybe even do a little light game while your there, build yourself up by detaching yourself from your current surroundings. It wont improve your game rapidly but it'll improve how you feel, and that is more important |

Gents it is amazing what a week in the alps can do for a guy, back with a tan, been working out. Got with my ex (still good buddies), got hit on by various women and met a couple new ones. Still really like this girl but the abundance mentality is back. I think working out and just chilling out may have to be my new knee jerk reaction to situations like this. In other news I have discovered the wonders of cooking for seduction. My bedroom is about 8 steps from my table, if you can't cook learn now. Women love a guy that can cook, I know you will have heard that a lot but I mean they really fucking love it. To the point they will ask if they can come over and you can cook for them. As a cheeky bonus if you get good at cooking, you will be eating better and never have to bother with takeaways and crap like that again. Check out cooktobang.com the guy is a genius, also cheers for all the help guys. I think it's kinda nice that every so often I doubt myself, it leads to improvement. |

Im in the same boat bro...check my thread when you can. Anyway one thing that made me feel great over the last two months was gaming extra hot HB's...F-closing wasnt important just knowing that I could close was enough in many cases. Embrace uncertainty. |
