| Post subject: | Game in Europe |
Hey PUAs, I'm leaving for Europe tomorrow and staying there for two weeks. I'm going to London, Barcelona, Andorra (? small country between France and Spain) and Paris. Gonna be sick! And I plan to do as much sarging as I can. I'm going with my uncle, so that is kind of a buzz kill in the game department, but I'll see what I can do. I won't be posting for the next couple weeks (unless I find some internet there). But when I return, expect some awesome field reports! Talk to you guys at the end of March. |

Make sure you check out all the sights in those great cities as well as sarge, try not to sleep too much either because London has so many great things to see and do. Oxford Street I've heard is a pretty good place to sarge, masses of people along the most expensive shopping street in Britain. I can see it now... Girl: Wow, you went to all those cities? So did you see the Eiffel tower? Sharplin: Ummm... Girl: What about Big Ben? Sharplin: Not really... Girl: So what exactly did you do there?! Sharplin: Sarge. Revised post. I could delete this post but then no one would see what I've learned. Whenever I think of the word sarge I think of trying to get into bed with someone as the ultimate goal. So for me, sleeping witha few randomers instead of sightseeing, for me, would not be the way I'd spend my time. Instead, in a PM I got today: Quote: You may or may not realize this, but sarging has to happen where there are people. Where are there people you may ask? Well, the popular places in an area. I guarantee you that if he goes and sarges as much as he is suggesting, he'll not only see tons of interesting sights but have much more interaction with the culture and stories to share.
If the goal of sarging was altered to learn about the culture as well as practice PU then the trip would be even more beneficial, both in terms of sightseeing, PUA skills as well as engaging with people who actually live in the environment.I see sarging and fun as two different things - I can talk to anyone but I find it terrifying starting a conversation with strangers that I initiate talking to. It was also pointed out that I am apparently elitist, that's cool if some want to think that but I'd suggest taking a look at other posters too! Cheers Hobbit for pointing this out to me. |

I plan on going to Oxford street tomorrow for shopping, so I'll try to do some sarging there. I didn't realize this before I left, but I have approach anxiety worse than I thought. Today / yesterday there were so many opportunities for me to approach - practically every minute (airplane / airport, landmarks, on the street, MUSEUMS, even where I am right now - the lounge / cafeteria of the Clink hostel). All these place are filled with strangers, and lots of gorgeous girls. I just can't work up the guts to approach. Sarging is easier said than done. |
