Honesty is speaking truth and creating trust in minds of others. Honesty implies a lack of deceit. A statement can be strictly true and still be dishonest if the intention of the statement is to deceive its audience. Deception is the act of convincing another to believe information that is not true, or not the whole truth as in certain types of half-truths, or through omission. Deception involves concepts like distraction and/or concealment. In many cases it is difficult to distinguish deception from providing unintentionally wrong information. One of the reasons for this is that a person or an entire organization may be self-deceived. |

Umm.. Thanks for the English lesson? Sir Magnum Tollzalot is, of course, implying that the entire establishment of the pickup artistry is based on dishonesty. In reality, the best PUAs use sheer honesty as their primary tool of seduction. Magnum45 just never got that far. He tried to become a PUA, struggled too much somewhere in the middle, gave up because it was too hard, and displaced his frustration toward the pickup community because his ego could not accept the fact that it was he who needed to change. I would say that a lot of people have become aware to the truth that the PUA journey is one that ultimately leads to a life of honesty, as long as they man up and take the pain that comes with the gain. I'm sorry you fail to see that, magnum45. |

Seduction: involves temptation and enticement, often sexual in nature, to lead someone astray into a behavioural choice they would not have made if they were not in a state of sexual arousal. In reality, the best PUAs use sheer honesty as their primary tool of seduction. I'm sorry you fail to see that, magnum45. 1. to lead astray, as from duty, rectitude, or the like; corrupt. 2. to persuade or induce to have sexual intercourse. 3. to lead or draw away, as from principles, faith, or allegiance: He was seduced by the prospect of gain. 4. to win over; attract; entice: a supermarket seducing customers with special sales. |

You know how to use a dictionary. It seems as though you have a plethora of sexual hangups that have been troubling your mind for a generous portion of your life. The truth is, women want to have sex. They want to be seduced. They want to be "led astray to make behavioral choices they would not have made" if they were being judged for it. If you aren't too keen on art, you're in the wrong place. You see, artists use lies to tell the truth. Yeah, I totally ripped that line from V for Vendetta. You look at a painting by an artist and feel the same emotions that the artist was trying to communicate. However, the painting is, by your standard of reasoning, a lie because it is delivering the emotion through a medium that is not a direct representation of the emotion itself. Some artists (the best ones) find the most honest way to express themselves in order to express their art. It's never seems to be good enough for closed-minded folk, though. Evolve. Oh, and check out this post: you-can-run-but-you-cant-hide-vt25629.html |
