Post subject:  Value game

I have been thinking about this and I am pretty sure value is not the most effective basis for game. I mean a tramp that looked like Brad Pitt could get a 10 (I know there's non-verbal value but if he out and out said I live on the streets or in my car I still think they could pull it off).

Same with Styles videos on his myspace when the guy goes out as a bin man, he is low value but through comedy etc manages to do well.

Rich guys admittedly lack skill most of the time but if it was based mainly on value wouldn't they be getting ass left right and centre?

I think a healthier basis for theories is investment. If a girl invests in you naturally she will be more inclined to want to be closer to you (like best friends that are women but with more sex).

Also if you get a girl thinking about you she is investing, which builds attraction.

Maybe Value to create attraction investment to build it. I dunno this is kinda a stream of thoughts but has anyone else considered these things?

And, does everyone know the classic investment story (working hard for a dream car then winning another the day after)? I will probably refer to it a few times in this thread so may need to tell it x

I wanted to save you some time, and practice my writing skills. Hope you don't mind, Jay.

"Five years have passed since you started saving to get your dream car. You worked overtime, cut back on outings and concerts, even on your monthly issue of Playboy! But it all finally paid off. As of right now, you are the proud owner of a brand new shiny *insert name of dream car (bike in my case)*. Nothing beats the new car smell!
Later that day, you get a call saying that you've just won a draw that you've entered a while back, making you the winner of the same brand new shiny *insert name of dream car (bike in my case)* that you've been saving 5 years for.

What a dilemma! Now you've got two exact same cars (bikes in my case, I get to keep both ) :), and you can't afford to keep the two, you have to give one up! Which one would you rather give up, the one you won, or the one you've rigorously saved up for during the last five years of your life?"

What Would Jaybot Do? ;)

It is also about how she feels around you.

I think that value like most other things in PU is overrated. It is used to check that you have high enough (enough) value so that you will not be a burden for her. Apart from that... Its all golddigger stuff more or less.

After she has accepted your presence it is more about comfort really, and the way you connect emotionally, laugh together, share secrets, etc etc. Trust. And some sexual tension of course! Chief Im gonna read your post before I start disagreeing...

After all, what is PU but 2 people meeting and one of them experienced enough to not freak her out?

Ok Chief, Im not gonna disagree... Interesting post. It takes balls to make it work but having balls is whats inner game is about (not only but you know what I mean).

Thanks for the eye opener.

A girl getting close to me should only happen after she has had sex with me lol.

Value based game is lame.

"Are you letting her talk to you?

Or is she letting you talk to her?"

Fuck that shit

i think the problem is that people don't understand what "value" is.

if you want something, it has value to you.

if you are gonna try and argue that you don't need to show value in order for girls to want you, then i'm willing to bet you are just calling it something different even though it really is "value" by my definition.

a guy dressed up like a trash man can still pull girls when he shows that he has value regardless of his obvious unvaluable appearance.

why do you think you want certain girls more than others? because they have higher value to you? i'm not gonna try and define what makes them high value to you cause it probably differs for everyone.

i think your investment theory is interesting though.

@Sexcellent - I wouldn't say people don't know what value is, rather everyone's using value to define different things. Some people seem to be going on about socially conditioned value & others Reproductive value.
