I think clothing stores are the biggest challenge for men. Most guys hate shopping. They do not know what they want or proper clothing store "etiquette". Generally they feel awkward in clothing stores.

But! Shopping is easy AND FUN. Here are a few tips:
(I'm not gonna number them because they're of equal worth)

  • Know what you're looking for.
Seems kinda obvious, but I've found myself in a shop not knowing what i was actually looking for.
  • Ask people that work there for advice.
It's their jobs to help you. Besides alot of cuties work in clothing stores. Don't be afraid if they know any cool pants or asking them what they'd like to see you wear.
  • Take your time.
Shopping isn't done in 5 minutes. Unless you want to go home with some clothes only to discover you don't really like them that much, you'll have to deal with that.
  • Don't be afraid to take more than one piece of clothing in the fitting room.
I usually get like 5 pieces of clothing that I like to try on before entering the fitting room. This will allow you to try out some combinations, you can discard what you don't like and keep what you do like.
  • Ask for opinions when trying things on.
You can ask anyone. It's a great opener and it'll benefit you.
  • Wear stuff that you feel comfortable in.
You can get an armani suit but if you don't feel comfortable in than it's wasted money.
  • Take a female to go shopping with you.
They are naturals when it comes down to fashion and shopping. They are able to spot what would look great on you from miles away. Females that know you for a while can help you pick out clothes that suit your personality. If it suits your personality it'll be comfortable to wear.
  • Don't be afraid to experiment.
Wearing plain t-shirts and wide jeans will not make you come across as a sexual active man. Try something a little bit over the edge. Again ask for opinions.

Happy shopping.

Hate to ruin the advert. for some guys website, but I will discuss something more important than how guys dress...

My tips for the young American ladies....

    1) NO flip-flops.
    2) Lose weight.
    3) Lose weight....Again.
    4) Makeup won't hurt you.
    5) God didn't make heels for 30 year old women.
    6) When you sit down make sure that you cross your legs.
    7) T-Shirts are for boys.
    8)Curling your hair can't hurt.

I know it is a dream for you guys, but imagine if America was like the former Soviet Union. Once again, females were made to attract men. Much like they were made to fix you dinner, clean the house, sweep the streets, and make sure that your clothes are clean and ironed. You don't have to agree with me, but the young ladies in that video do!

Thats nice thought me and my friends LOVE SHOPPING.

Some things that ive picked up on also is

Friendly with the cashier and employees

Cuz knowing someone that works there is awesome. Some stores have special items that are behind the scenes and arent on display. Or they are recieving a new shipment of clothes that will be gone within the first two or three days. Knowing someone from the "inside" is a techinque used EVERYWHERE. Plus being social is fun anyway.

    Bargaining

Ok paying full price for a car is ludicrious right? So is for EVERYTHING else you buy. Now haggling the same cashier everytime for a bargain is gonna get annyoing and they'll regret seein you when you come in. But like everything theres is a balance and a touch. Plus if your friends with someone on the "inside" they may even give you a discount. The good thing about this one is I have a couple of examples
' A friend of mine once gamed a girl working at footlocker, while i was just trying to get my shoes and go he took time to get to know her and what-not. So when time to rack up prices came the shoes were 70$ instead he said " Well 70$ is a lot of money, so bumb it down to about 50$" A completely positive and unappologetic face, and guess what? She bumped it down to about 30 or 20$'
Now is that awesome or what?

    Sales Dammit

Ok we all know that everyone loves sale but there not always avaible right? SCREW THAT. A normal ralph lauren polo shirt cost us about 70-150$ right. Not if you know what your doing. Me and my friends take a lil drive around to certain places and always get REAL AND AUTENTIC polo for about 30-70$. Awesome right the power of Sales baby. Even if its not something you want now if it fits into your 'style' you should get it if its on sale. Its also important to keep up with the stores and their intende sales. Even on Black Friday and the other day (forgot) we all see the importance of Sales

    Window Shopping

I often Window shop myself to see whats out and its prices. I also take pictures and send them to friends if im by myself. Window Shopping is a good techinque as well although there is a balance to this as well. This can be used to save money and time when you get your outfit in your head then go forth and buy it already knowing the cost and what you want.

Thats just my lil tke on it :)
