So, I've been studying lots of PU materal and the ones I like the best are Mystery Method and RSD blueprint decoded. They're like the opposite (canned vs natural) and therefore complete each other.

So, Mystery assumes you open the set with lower value and have to neg the target.

Tyler Durden assumes you open with same value.

So, who's right?

There's more than one way of doing things. Try it out for yourself.

I assume higher value and come off as arrogant - which works on the type of girl I'm after.

Do you prefer chocolate milk, or strawberry milk?
You are not going to get a unanimous answer to this question...

I bet on Tyler. His ideas are newer and his way of thinking looks "deeper" for me.
Plus, it's much better for your ego ;)

There is no right way. It's what works for you. Me? I have high value and I don't care what anyone else's value is. That works for me...

If I had to align myself with any theory, it would have to be assuming that we're at the same value, but it's not even like that.

Like I said, there is no right way with anything in the game, it's all about finding your comfort zone and capitalizing on it.

Eric says that because he has deep rooted insecurities.

Never assume yourself to be of lower value than anyone. You don't even know her! Why would automatically place yourself at 5 and her as 10??? That's dumb!

This type of thinking also causes HUGE developmental issues in a students game such as strengthening any negative self image problems as well as forcing a student to neg a girl who is actually being nice or may even like him.

Long story short... never assume yourself to be of lower value than anyone. Have some self respect.
