I haven't seen a lot about this in the community or the best way to handle it, but I'm still a relative newcomer & if this is starting to happen to me I'm sure it happens often to the experienced. Just from my little taste I see where this could really throw a wrench in the middle of your game if you're unprepared as I was, BUT could be a very, very powerful tool as well if you know how to use it & play 2 girls off of each other. I experienced this for the 1st time this weekend, & then again the next night with a different girl making me think this isn't random & something that happens as your skills progress. The 1st time I was working a 2 set & a girl I had previously opened & a couple weeks earlier bumped into me pretty clearly trying to get my attention. I ended up blowing the 2 set off because I liked this girl more & I wasn't really invested. No biggie. The 2nd night I had isolated a HB 7.5 I was interested in at the bar & spent a good amount of time on & a HB 9 comes over to the bar beside her getting a drink & interrupts us & say you look familiar to me. Caught me off guard as my focus was on the 7.5. I did remember her but I didn't remember how at that moment, so we had this weird exchange reintroduced ourselves shook hands right in the HB 7.5's face & tried to talk a bit. It got very awkward because the HB7.5 was getting tense & jealous. I really wanted to ditch the 7.5 at that moment for the 9 but couldn't bring myself to because she was was a nice girl I had been talking to for a long time & it just felt mean to be so obvious about it. Having to make my choices on the fly I stayed in set & it was awkward enough the HB 9 walked away. I had lost interest in the 7.5 at this point because I wanted the 9 & the mood had been wrecked anyway & I removed myself shortly after wanting to find the 9. I never found her & I ended up with neither. I'll have to say it felt powerful to have 2 girls kind of competing for me. Got me thinking there has to have been a proper way to handle this & get both.I didn't want to be a dick & jump set, plus that would have looked to egar as well & I don't want to give all the power over to the HB 9. I think I played it decent on the fly IF I ever see her again. That's the question though & I definitely want to see her again as I recalled later where I opened her a month earlier & having a great conversation. I could have closed her that night but my wing blew the set with her friend & they got out to quick. Suggestions on the best way to handle these types of interrupts? |

Good post, these sorts of in-field quirks don't get discussed enough. I don't have much time but I'll try and post some help later because I have to go now. For now I've posted two of my bad experiences! Last Friday a girl I #-closed at a shop met me out at a fairly big house party, and I was basically doing my thing on a two-set and she jumps in. I never followed up on this girl (HB8), but she knew that we knew each other and waits for me to say so. Then she starts trying to kill my flow with stuff like "Well Rafiel likes to pick up random girls in shops" and things like that. I have to admit I wasn't all that successful because I wanted the two-set and her aswell, but I ended up blowing her out and catching the two-set; I just rewarded good behaviour and ignored bad behaviour. When she said that I just ignored her and carried on talking. The theory is much easier said than done here. Probably the worst time I ever had with this was my bitch ex-gf. It was me, her, HB9 and HB9's friends on the bus. My goal was to set up a plan for HB9 and myself to go off together once we got off the bus - i knew I could. But my ex knew what I was trying to do and just KEPT cockblocking me. And she succeeded. She virtually forced sitting next to me and everytime I said something tried to put a negative spin on it. |

Jealousy is such a huge attraction switch. I know it works on me and I am utterly conscious of the damn concept! Something I am working on. There's a fine line though between not caring if the girl youre fucking is flirting with some dude to get a drink and just having fun, or flirting cus she's actually interested. I resort to pawning other girls/sets to get her to come back to me, again jealousy. Shit is fucked up! Anyways, sounds like you played it pretty cool. And the last thing you wanna do, you are right, is give the HB9 the power. When shit like this happens, you gotta not skip a beat, absolutely no awkward pauses. The only thing you can control in this situation is your OWN emotions. They are going to have a little rivalry but that is expected, youre pretty much the shit! A technique that I always default to is treating every girl I meet/ interact with, like she is my little sisters friend. You know, just some little girl who is looking up to you to make everything OK, lead the interaction, smooth out any problem. It's a kind of 'father-figure' too. So I would have not spent anytime trying to figure out where you and the HB9 met; youre putting too much emphasis on a past interaction and the 7.5 is standing there like, wtf! Quick intro then catch her up, continue attraction and make them like each other as well as you. Making them like each other however is only important if your trying to game both, if youre only interested in one, ditch the other at some point. Sooner or later will come an extraction- strategery says you leave with the 7.5 as the 9 will typically have higher self-esteem, plus will wonder why the fuck she lost and you become a nice challenge. 7.5 is gonna be like wow, this guy isn't shallow at all! Badda-bing=win/win. Although ideally you leave with BOTH at the same time. Pumping attraction, kino, sexual tension, (alcohol) between the three of you. Of course easier said then done for most of us. Shit happens everyday tho, everydamnday. |
