I know some guys will just pick random names for the alias and some will have meaning behind it. I belong to the latter. I was wanting to know if when I'm in field that if I tell the story behind my name, would it make for a good DHV? |

Well, the reason I chose my name was because I used to have a problem with training for something but never putting my experience into practice. Like if a boxer would shadow box, but would never fight in the ring. Now thats just a simplified version of the story, what do you think?

that doesn't exactly seem like a DHV, although an interesting story. I'm not even exactly sure when you expect your name to come up in convo. Like, are you going to introduce yourself by your real name aka Shadow Box or bring it up later? |

I figure I'll use my nickname and reward them with knowing the story behind it...if they behave  They are bound to ask about it eventually.

Why don't you just use your own name? If people call you shadow box and that's how everybody knows you then that's fine, the girls will be intrigued as to why your mates called you that and ask themselves without you feeling the need to bring it up yourself. |
