| Post subject: | A Negative view towards girls and getting past it? |
For the longest time I have had a really negative view towards girls. I just think that they are all sluts and not worth my time. How do I get past this? What I was told last night really made me hate females and makes me think that there are no self respecting girls out there any more. And I think I have lost all hope. Why I used to have hope: I dated this girl in High School (6 years ago) and she was this sweet, wholesome and morrally sound girl. The girl next door type that I always pictured myself with. We broke up and it was no big deal; we still hang out every once in a while. Anyways, I always compared later g/f to her and they never matched up. After hearing stories about girls constantly and some first handed experiences with girls, I started thinking that all girls are sluts and not worth my time. But then I would think about my old HS g/f and that would give me hope that there are still self respecting girls out there. What I found out last night: I was hanging out with some HS friends and one of them told me this about my old HS g/f. She had b/f for three years of college and broke up with him this August during her senior year. (I knew this) Apparently since then she has been screwing anything with a penis. The thing that really messed me up was that she fucked a guy we went to HS with on New Years Eve on his grandmothers bed and was apparently loving it. Who does this? Finding this out has crushed any hope I had of finding a self respecting girl. |

The fact that you are still using words like "slut" and "whore" tells me that your problem isn't women "lacking respect for themselves," it's your own sexual hangups. You belong to a community of men whose primary objective is to raise the number of sexual partners in their own life, yet you apply a rigid double standard to the opposite sex whereby they are somehow less valuable because they enjoy sex as much as you do? In what world does that even make sense? The truth is, there is no such thing as a slut. There are women who are sexually liberated and at one with their femininity, free of bullshit inhibitions and insecurities that hold them back from getting what they want; then there are a second group who are jealous that for whatever reason they can't have that freedom, so they come up with all sorts of derogatory names to call the first group. Stop trying to cram your desires into the neat little box you were programmed to fit all your relationships into as a child. A woman who knows what she wants when she sees it (and has the assertiveness to go get it) is a very, very good thing that should be praised and rewarded, not degraded. Your boy, 870 |

You're worried about women being whores, while on a forum where sex is a huge driving force for 90% of the members, including you most likely. Double standard?? And "slut", I am not normally this ruff, but, next time you post in this particular thread. Make sure you've got a grasp of real sexuality. |
