Post subject:  Neil Strauss In The Lions Den

Just watched Neil Strauss get ripped to shreds on The View. I think Neil is absolutely awesome and has had a huge impact on the pick up world. However i think this shows we can all have a bad day at the office. What you can take from this is if a pick up goes wrong then don't worry, it happens to the best of em.

Check out the interview here: http://social-masters.com/blog/neil-strauss

How did he get ripped to shreds? He was polite and build rapport, it would have been weird if he went on a chat show and tried to control the conversation as they are asking the questions.
I think everyone reads too much into controlling conversation, conversation needs two people leading it for it to flow naturally IMO

Jaybot you make some good points. Especially about how everyone reads too much into frame control. Tho it is good to use when attracting women.

Remember tho the mystery method puts huge emphasis on frame control yet he does not demonstrate it here at all. You can't teach something and then not demonstrate it. Especially in a high profile media coverage where he is basically promoting the mystery method style. Surely it would have been a huge benifit for him to show excellent frame control, which would have made his method of learning look very good.

Had it been someone who displays a more natural approach to gaming then yeah it would have been no problem. Me personally, I agree that frame control is not the b all and end all. I like everyting to be as natural as poss with a hint of frame control to keep me in charge.

Just think how amazing it would have been if he had controlled the frame. 4 women struggling to be centre of attention and yet he would have been the one in charge. Just a thought :D

WHAT!? Dont believe everything you read...
Imagine going to talk to people that know you
are a PUA and thin PUAs just trying to smooth
talk women out of their pants. Imo Neil won
them over because did you hear how angry she
sounded in the begining?????

Plus youve got to remember PUA gurus will pretty much
get joke on on any show they go on. If you ever seen
Mystery on the late night shows you know what Im talking
about. People just really dont believe what they teach is real
so they are skeptical about them.

It's THE VIEW!

One of the most (if not THE most) anti-male establishment show on America TV. I've seen them bring other men who claimed to be able to pick-up any women on the show before and they basically humiliated the man. Compare to them, Neil Strauss held up like a pro. Not only did he show them he wasn't going to let them push him over, but got them interested in what he had to say. He then demonstrated value by bringing a woman to the show with him, who is,IMHO, easily far more attractive than any woman on that video.

Keep in mind, the casts are use to being treated as Divas and Madonnas. They're very Alpha and are usually struggling for control most of the time amongst each other. The fact that Neil got as far as he did and didn't get overtly ridiculed off the show is nothing short but phenomenal!

Myth - you are totally right about people being skeptical. I sometimes wonder why gurus even bother to go on these shows. They are setting themselves up for a fall. I think pick up is one of those things you will find if you have the desire to want to meet hot women (google search). Does it need all of this media coverage?

ConvAZN - HA HA its the view says it all :D . They are very alpha so it would be very difficult. I would just like to have seen him try. If he had failed fair enough. I think its the thought of him taking four women who believe they are in charge and bringing them down a peg or two would have been awesome.
