I think its utterly pointless, to be honest. While you have pictures with some women, we have no way to know how interested they are in you, if you closed or anything. Just go to one club and ask every girl there to take a picture with out, you would be surprised how many were up for it. Add in all female friends, you get quite a lot of pictures which mean very little. Aside from that, I really don't understand why people care about proving their out "doing PUA".... why prove yourself to a bunch of people on a forum, if people arent going out and living their lives its their loss, if people think I am not doing anything, fine - really doesnt bother me what people think, I know what really happens Aside from anything else, this sort of thing comes under why I don't write field or lay reports: - I have respect for the women who come into my life and therefore don't feel comfortable posting pictures of them on a public forum. What happens between me and a women is between me and her generally speaking. - Nobody learns anything from them them normally, hell, I couldnt write down explaining exactly what I did during an interaction with a girl from the first moment I saw her because I couldn't remember that much stuff, I live the moment, not think about it and store it all into memory. Pictures help people in no way, just like the majority of field/lay reports they are just a nice ego boost to show people you have never met you got with some women. I am sure there will be people who disagree with me, but really the only people who are missing out by not going out and living their lives are the people themselves. But still, good idea and nice set of pictures |

This.Plus, at least a few of us try to preserve a relative sense of anonymity on these boards and the internet in general. Impressing a few people I'll most likely never meet (the ones I will meet wouldn't be impressed by some pictures in my signature anyway) simply isn't worth it. Cool pics though Your boy, 870 |

this is a big one so i'll break it up Quote: I think its utterly pointless, to be honest. i understand that 1. my guess was that people wouldn't post pictures that show something that didnt really happen, but then again this is the internet and everyone lies huh?Quote: Aside from that, I really don't understand why people care about proving their out "doing PUA".... why prove yourself to a bunch of people on a forum, if people arent going out and living their lives its their loss, if people think I am not doing anything, fine - really doesnt bother me what people think, I know what really happens
its not my attempt to prove myself, it's just that i came onto this website to get advice from others that have as much if not more exp. than i do but half the time im getting advice from people who dont really have the experience to be talking in the first place. i would just like a way to tell who i should pay attention to and who is just wasting my time...Quote: Aside from anything else, this sort of thing comes under why I don't write field or lay reports:
i guess posting these pictures might be percieved as disrespectful towards the women, but i know they wouldn't mind...- I have respect for the women who come into my life and therefore don't feel comfortable posting pictures of them on a public forum. thanks. i work very hard on it.Quote: Plus, at least a few of us try to preserve a relative sense of anonymity on these boards and the internet in general. yeah i seemed to come off as tryin to show off but my intentions were really to seperate the experienced people from the inexperienced ones... i.e. now noone can really claim that im some 12 year old geek sitting on my comp. all day (and with some of the ridiculous shit i say people like to think that)

Honestly.Keep those pictures in your personal folder if you so desire. If, that is, how you look at it. |

colloso, Unfortunately the people who are the ones your most likly questioning to be faking it are the ones that would post up fake pictures, thats where the problem lies in my opinion. I also know it wasn't an attempt to prove yourself, its just a general feeling I have towards all this name calling/doubting of people. I think if your trying to work out who you can really listen to its a lot of a judgement call on your part. I personally find it very easy to tell who is BSing on here and just re-sighting things they have read compared to those who understand and experience what PU really is. As a general rule of thumb however, post count, rep and votes generally have correlation with how credible the poster is. However, like I said to start with, its not normally hard to tell who really know what their talking about after you see a few posts from someone. Sun of Nothing, I don't really see what your post was trying to say. I do keep pictures I have private and the ones I do post on say facebook you cant read any more into than its me with people. If it was a sarcastic comment insinuating that I don't have women in my life then by all means think that, if that is how you look at it. It is after all, your opinion and you are more than entitled to it. Before I made assumptions about people just because they choose not to post pictures and "ego trips" about every sexual encounter they have had i would, personally, look at other indicators. After all, just like the people on here who want "what does this mean" answers, basing an opinion off of one thing is not normally an effective strategy but rather looking at a combination of factors and their correlation is, generally, a better indicator. Although, that being said, I don't think your post was written in a sarcastic way considering your other posts are very to the point... which I like by the way (referencing the comment made to expact of love and the theme of his posts). Oops, sorry about the miscommunication, Madals. I wasn't sure if that was clear enough or how it would be interpretted. I was simply saying that I am in 100% agreement with your post. I keep what's private, private. Unless sharing a story in limited company can help. The second half of my post was related to Colloso. Hence the line spaces. And again, absolutely nothing against you bro, I just disagree with having pictures as "medals." Just not something I'd personally do. Sorry again about the miscom. |
