After work I made it over to the gym for a quick workout. She was coming over at nine, so I planned accordingly in my head for the upcoming events. When did I need to be home, how much cleaning is needed, where will I pick up the wine.... I will call this girl "miss independent". We went on a date 2 years ago, but life gets busy and you lose touch. This girl has features that I like physically. She is smart and funny enough. As long as they laugh at my jokes, they can be just funny enough. That is important. She is also slightly tough and defensive. I know I can work through this easily, but it can get old fast. On my way home from the gym I stop in at the local store and pick up a big bottle of Chardonnay. It is an Australian wine, inexpensive but suits well for this evening's events. I get home with an hour to spare, this is precision timing. I have to clean with obsessive attention to detail prior to a new girl coming over. That means no water spots on the sink, the towels must align exactly, the living room must be as inviting as possible with magazines, candles and pillows strategically placed. This is my stage where I preform in the most pinnacle moments of any date. She comes over at 9:15. I show her around the apartment, we have a beer and catch up...Tonight we are going to Cork, my favorite wine & tapas bar near my house. I go there often. I drive to the bar around 10, as soon as we walk in the manager comes over and shakes my hand. I greet the bar tenders then make my way downstairs to a private booth lit by candles. I order us 2 glass of pino grigio. I do most of the talking. I usually do. We exchange stories, talk about our dreams, our goals, and how Steven Segal was my role model as a young boy. I think by now I have lowered her guard, and after the second glass of wine it is time to change venues. We head back to my apartment. When we walk in, the lights are lit softly, and there is music playing....just as I left it. I pull out the chilled bottle of wine and pour us a glass. Instead of going in the living room, we end up staying in the kitchen. We talk, we dance and flirt. She drinks wine fast, and comments that I drink slow. I do drink slow...I enjoy it and try never to become complacent with my thoughts. We have our second and third glass of wine on the couch. The sexual tension builds during this time. The conversation veered towards our past date, but I quickly take control and talk about something more promising. We finish our glasses and head to the bedroom. Things go smoothly, she asks if I have a condom. This is a lot more aggressive then our first date. Sex is new to her. I take things a little slower. Initially she was trying to take control, but I know better. For our sake, I set the pace and did the things that needed to be done. I kiss her everywhere, caress her entire body and softly bite her neck. I do this because of my own pride....Maybe she has never had a night like this before, and maybe that is why she will fall for me way too fast. My pride will get me every time. CTF $35 |
