| Post subject: | report on the protest |
Hey guys airwave2oo8 here So guess who was on the protest to abolish Fees for college students. It was taking place in Dublin and students came down from all over the country from a variety of colleges. Tons of beautiful girls there. I was with my friend and we have been discussing our lack of knowledge when it comes to girls. So we were going along on the protest screaming our heads off when this girl looked at me(for all you rating maniacs she was a HB7) and opens me : hb7: hey what college are you from ? airwave: Waterford hb7: are you guys French students ? airwave: nah(with a smurk) then i lift up the girls hoody and see the name of their college (GIT) where is that from ? ( every student got a shirt with their colleges initials on it) hb7: Galway airwave: wouh that is a long way from here hb7: yeah we had to drive for like 4 hours bla bla bla then she asks us where we are from and what we major in my Friend: Software systems Development hb7: So where are you guys from ? airwave: Latvia (she gets really impressed) airwave: we're not lame even though we do computers hb7: (fake smile) hb7: So where are you guys from ? airwave: Latvia (she gets really impressed then we separate for like 1 minute, I'm talking to her friend and she's talking to my friend airwave to her friend: so what do you do her friend: arts airwave: I point to my shirt which has a graffiti on it and ask if she can do that kind of stuff her friend: nah i do a lot of different arts stuff airwave: you must have a lot of passion to do art After that i kinda blanked, started walking a bit in front of the girls and i guess subconsciously i was running away because i left my friend with hb7 and her friend, whom he had to leave to catch up with me. He was actually having a nice conversation with hb7 before i disappeared so i f-d everything up. That conversation lasted about 5-8 minutes and i started walking faster. I mean I'm in need of some serious game. I blank after all my dumb interview questions. Would really appreciate some advice from you guys. |

First of all, don't do interview questions. Seriously. A quick 'So where are you from?' and then find something to talk about that place. Compare it to your place. Transition to an interesting story about something that happened at your place, with your mates. Include DHV spikes. Remember something else that happened and start talking about that without finishing the first story; you can return to that later. Just make sure that you include her in the stories by quick questions 'Have you ever had that happen to you? It's weird when that shit happens.' She'll talk for a minute after this, and then you can return to your stories. Write down some stories or reminders of those stories and carry it around as a cheat sheet. In the middle of a convo when you're getting worried about what to say, hold up your hand, calmly say 'Hold on a moment' and calmly look at the sheet, replace it and carry on the convo. Peace. C. |

You COULD make some up, but I'd advise against it because you won't believe the story so its harder to get them to believe it. Just use any example in your life that can be exaggerated slightly to put you in an even better light. I have a female friend I was considering turning into a pivot once, who used to have an annoying habit of biting me. So I eventually started making orgasmic faces when she did it so that she stopped. Her boyfriend heard about this and started copying it. So the story goes: "You know how when you know someone for a while you start adopting their mannerisms? The worst ones... the most annoying ones... are when they're boyfriend and girlfriend... they almost become one person! I guess it's kinda hero worship. Heh, actually you know what's weird? I have this friend, and her boyfriend... she must talk about me a lot when I'm not there because I'll say or do something around her... and then she'll tell me that her boyfriend has started doing it since she told him. The weird part is I've never MET the guy before!" The overall story is a leader of men attribute combined with a preselection by other women spike (she talks about me a lot when I'm not there). Notice the question at the start which gets her more interested and brings her into the conversation, and the pauses both create a good rhythm to my speech to make it more interestng and easy to listen to and allow her to add to what I'm saying. Another preselection story I use can be used as an opener as well. I have long hair, and it's straight and soft and women *love* it. Something slightly annoying is the fact that when at a bar, a seemingly recurring occurence is for women I don't know to stroke it without even saying anything. This becomes: "Quick question for you... you're standing at a bar in a club... just waiting to get served... suddenly, and without saying anything to you or even coming into your field of vision... some guy strokes you hair. That's... creepy... right?" "..yeah..." "Right. So... *why* do *so* many girls seem to think it's alright to do that to *me*!? Seriously! I was in a strip bar the other day - don't give me that look, it was a mate's 21st - standing at the bar, and one of the strippers does it! I was like... 'Dude, you don't touch the hair. You NEVER touch the hair!' She kept bugging me trying to stroke it all night. I told her if she blagged me a smoke of someone she could touch it. She spent all night getting me that cigarette!" The important things to remember are to keep your energy levels at a good level, have an interesting tone to your voice and, especially in the early stages of the set and before you're giving IOIs to the target, to address DHV stories to the group as a whole or to a non-target so you're not bragging. |

i have to just say, do NOT do the 'fake it til you make it' deal. it doesn't work out in the long run. girls see through it, eventually at the very least, and then you're just a liar. the way you tell a story can really make the difference, so get creative! |

It shouldn't be done because it's next to impossible to be congruent with a lie and congruence is everything. Peace. |
