What do you say to this? I don't know how to respond to this or what to say other than "Thanks". This also applies when a girl calls you "cute, handsome, good-looking" or any other compliment based on your physical appearance. What do you do when she compliments you on a shirt or an accessory? It's happened a lot and I don't know how to deal with it. It's like a shit-test that tests how cocky and big-headed you are, and it has so many fucking loops that it's mind boggling. |

Normally I like to play it down as much as possible. Her: you really are good looking? me: no im not, im average her: no seriously, I know average guys, your way better looking it. me: That's means something coming from a hot chick like yourself. basically I try to get her to repeat that im good looking as much as possible, so its sticks in her head that I am cute and good looking. as oppose to Her: you really are good looking me: yeah im pretty hot, most girls think im sexy Her: well, your not that hot. The first one normally brings you as a humble person, is isn't too cocky about his good looks. The second, she sees a large ego, and basically tries to deflate it to her level |

Whenever she says or does something that I would consider beneficial to the pickup, I up the ante. HB: Hey, nice shirt. ME: Cool, you want to get out of here? Take it up a notch, she's admitting to being attracted to you, so you can hit the next step. It's also an opportunity to spin things sexual. HB: You're cute. ME: I know, too bad you would never be able to handle me in the bedroom. Physically too, like if she goes in and gives you a kiss on the cheek, turn your head and pull her into a makeout. You always want to be leading the interaction, so if she takes one step forward, take two... |

im not accreditting this to me, im just bringing it up. Someone on this forum in another topic said that once when he got complimented he just said 'thanks' and looked at her lips for a while and they kissed within 5 seconds of the compliment. Sounds kinda crazy but i just thought i'd bring that up. When i get complimented I usually go for the cocky "i know :]" or like Hobbit said: Quote: 2) Tell her at least one of us looks good (in an exaggerated, cocky manner)

All of Hobbit's answers were great, especially the first one. I mean, all the girl is REALLY looking for is a "thanks" in return. But if you can add something a little extra and funny that is good too. If someone tells me I look nice today I respond with "Thanks, I showered today  "

Honestly I just say "thanks", but I say a lot more with my eyes, my facial expression and my body language. Remember words are a mere fraction of the the communication involved in an interaction, roughly 7%. Use your body language to flirt back with her, maybe bite your lower lip a little as you break into a smile and then use your eyes to seduce her. Using only your eyes you can SO much, so make good use of them! Stop focusing on the words, convey your thoughts and feelings with a look. |

Yep, you can definitely step it up with subcommunications too... That's GOT TO be part of it.Stop focusing on the words, convey your thoughts and feelings with a look. I want to comment on the CF stuff though. I have gotten burned too many times by replying to her compliment with a sarcastic response. Realize what cocky funny is conveying. You are making it playful, but the cocky/sarcasm projects that you are higher value, which is an attractive quality. But the attraction is FULLY there already, she is complimenting you, putting herself out there, there is no need to go over board and get all sarcastic with her... It's basically going backwards in the interaction. Time to ESCALATE, not stay in attraction mode the whole time... Yeah, you might get a good response like her giggling or something... But I prefer parlaying that into something more than just a laugh i.e. SEX |

For me this happens the most before rapport or kino and just after opening. It'll go down something like this Her: So what ethnicity are you? Me: I'm like 1/16 black, half asian, half german, and 1/8th brazilian. But that's a long story. Her: Hahahaha. Well you're a good looking guy so thank your daddy. This is literally like 30seconds-2 minutes into conversation. Usually it'll catch me off guard from my frame and I reply with a cliche thanks. I don't think I could escalate that quickly in, but I could def. try the CF responses. |

It's an old one, but if a girl tells you she likes your shirt offer to trade it for hers. Then you make a motion to start taking it off while watching to see if she does the same. It's sexy and funny, a good combo. I like Hobbit's stuff too. The first one is gold! Basically, she's saying she's attracted so it's time to go on to the next step. |

Rye Lee's nailed it, you want to make them feel good about complimenting you. Depending on the stage you're at you may want to stay away from the "yeah I know" response. It can convey that arrogance, cockyness which actually plays against you during comfort. Use the "yeah I know  " response in attraction phase only.
