So...me and my pops were out to dinner last night and the meal was one of the best meals ever. It was wings so we were eating the exact same thing. anyways after the food got to the table everything went silent. I was eating my dad was eating but then about halfway though eating I looked up and noticed.

Me and my pops had PERFECT rapport for instance: I took a drink, he took a drink. I grabbed a garlic wing, he grabbed a garlic wing. So i started having fun with it, I took out the ranch and doused my wing with it. he saw that I was doing it so he did the same thing. Until......I choked on a chip and gagged. thus breaking rapport. Our almost choreographed eating went down the hatch along with how much we were enjoying each others company. So I spent a while trying to get back to that point of perfect rapport. but it dawned on me that I did not know how to do that, I tried imitating his actions, but it didn't work, it was just too hard he was moving too fast.

basically how do you establish such rapport with a girl "coincidentally"? or does it just happen by accident like it did with my pops?

Maybe its not just the actions but the thoughts & body language.
Were you both smiling, looking at the same things, moving at the same speed, with the same confidence?

If you wanna be in that state with a girl, try mirroring her body language, then her actions and when she sees the rapport, maybe she'll start mirroring you!

interesting post. I will pay attention to mirroring the next person i am with or if that person is mirroring me. Is that what you call rapport?

yah, basically, zip calls it: "seeing yourself in someone else" so you both think the same thoughts and are communicating on the same level. When you have rapport like described above, deep feelings start coming out.
