I was working this huge set this weekend (like 7 or 8) and one of the HBs pulled this shittest on me, when she realized she wasn't the target:

"Hey, if your going to pick her up you better be good" (the exact phrase is kind of lost in translation)
I laughed and said:
"Ghee, your putting a lot of pressure on me, working with an audience isn't easy" And played a little with it like "You got to hold my hands still, they're shaking and I can't control it." (making the target take my hands and doing the: you're hands are swetty, you nervous too?)

I dodged it this time and got a laugh out of it. But still, any feedback or suggestions of what to do in this situation?

Mystery had a great reply to this kind of shit-test. I can't wait to try it out.

While reading this I came up with a few other replies:
"If you're lucky, I might get you throwing plates and cups at me later tonight." - Don't ask me why yet, I don't know, but this one works a treat. Perhaps referring to a close relationship perspective. Many women when shit-testing in later stages of a relationship get very angry and throw plates and cups. I have my parents friends stories to vouch for this.
"You're not very nice are you? You like teasing me, what am I going to do with you?"

Here are some eliciting values replies:
"Interesting, well, how would you judge whether a man is good then"

Eliciting values with a neg:
"So little lady, tell me, what would it mean to be good in your eyes. Because I am sure under those looks, there is somebody looking for more than just a pretty face." With an anchor, having you point at yourself. DHV there too.

I would say "If I pick her up she'd better be good!"

or "jeez... talk about peer pressure, if you're trying to use reverse psychology on me to hook me up with your friend you're gonna have to buy me a drink first" then I'd turn and whisper in the target's ear, "I don't care what they think of you, you don't look that easy"

Bro that was hilarious, although it took me 3 times reading to understand!

Randomness will throw the friends shit test off, but be careful they dont think your a weird ass after. it might make the sarge cold.

I was asked 'you think your good enough to pick her up?' or similar w.e at a club one time.

I turned it around by making the friend look bad, "what?! how can you treat your friend like a piece of meat?! (then neg the friend by asking ur target) how do you role with her (w.e)" - smile and say it C&F.

I personally wouldnt answer the question, but if I had to go with an answer, I think one of the previous ones was good - "if im going to pick her up, shed BETTER be good"
