Post subject:  Why girls like "Cute" guys ...

Hello all.

Now we all know that looks matter in the art of seduction. Either from the male or female prespective. A man has an attraction switch with young/slim/ women. A women finds a man with masculine shape pretty attractive as well , well built and strong.

And we know the reason is due to the hardwired ancestoral stimulus. A women desires a man of protective power to protect. However since I was like 15 and first ever saw some actors on the big screen refered to as cute I could not understand the meaning behind this. As there were two male looks the big muscly shape and the average shape. But actors like Leonardo Decaprio who had the average shape were attractive to women because they looked "cute"

Now the reason behind this is pretty simple, a good looking guy comes from good looking parents. If you have good looking parents or ancestors then they must have been people with the two main elements of survival (the ability to generate offspring throughout the generations) and most importantly survival (the access to resources)

In other words women are hardwired to assume that good looking men refered to as cute or handsome come from a high valued ancestoral heritage.

Think about it , ever went to a royal party with high classed VIPs , did you notices how the majority of people there are people with definitive featuristical looks.

If your good looking then your father was good looking or your mother was which means your parents or your ancestors had a form of high value , your father could have "layed" your mom due to his high valued base.

If anyone has a point about that please do critisize or support
thank you

the way your talking is more than sterotypical. you sound like you follow MM. ok - when our species first began then yeah sure a female would look for strength. why? because she wanted protection. This is similar today however - if you were a female seeking protection who would you prefer? a muscly guy? or leonardo decaprio with hundreds of thousands of fanatic fans backing him up? the muscly guy will shrivel in comparison. The reason why this is more affective is due to the population explosion. From 50 in a tribe, the whole world is a tribe, with sub categorical tribes - why? media. globalisation. and leonardo is all over the media.

this post is a bit of a mess. im tired. hope it makes sense.

I agree with your point , there is no doubt about it that times have changed the warrior of yesterday is a wealthy business man in todays world.

But dont forget that although times have changed our basic instinct still survives up untill today but with few modifications. Remember that beauty for man is similar in all cultures and times if you run into a tribe in africa the standard beauty is very well the same standard of beauty in our concrete jungle.

Hope you get my point

Looks in men do not matter as much as you make them out to. In the eyes of women, a man's social value and traits that will improve her survival needs are much more important.

Now, if a woman sees a good looking guy (like Leo) and he is exuding confidence and good body language (like most hunky actors do), then she will automatically assume higher value from him. Most good looking guys are indeed more social and also tend to have cool friends. This is natural because men put good looking men on pedestals as well as putting women on them. Because good looking men get treated a bit better, they become more confident. Then confidence breeds more confidence as they get better and better reactions over the years. Because of this, 'cute' guys just happen to be more natural and better at talking to women because it has generally been a part of their life for a long time.

It is not their looks that appeal to women mainly, it is their comfort and social value that is important. I wouldn't say women are much more 'attracted' to cute guys, but I would say they prefer them. If they see a hunched over, nerdy looking guy and see a cute guy, they would prefer the cute guy because through past experience have found that this type has much higher status and S+R value.

Bingo. You boys can quit spending your time trying to be smooth or good looking. This guy gets it with those two sentences. I only bash most of the posters on here because they act as if they are gay. Worrying about looks and parties. Worrying about the age of the girl. I could go on.

Here is the key put in a simpler way: Have more money or status than the guys she is around on a daily basis. You will turn her on. Simple as that. She will be the one who tries to pick you up!

Why don't most of you want to believe what this poster posted? Simple. Most on here are still young boys in school. School boys rarely have the lifestyle that older guys have. Send one of those "older guys" to your school with his luxury car and fancy trips and you will see just who the girls want.

So girls don't want smooth guys? Hey, we all want to be around smooth guys. Doesn't mean that we want to bang'em though. Improve yourself not for girls but for yourself. If you want girls you must distance yourself from them via money or status. That is right. Distance yourselves from them. People want what they think they can't have.

What does this status thing mean? Basically it is a lifestyle that the girl wishes she could have. College frat parties vs. high-end restaurants/high-end clubs/bars? What do you think the typical girl would prefer? Beer soaked flip-flop festivals vs. interesting people with money in stylish locations?

I do completely agree.

avk, then explain the difference between "hot" and "cute/pretty" as applied to women by us. Your explanation breaks down.

I think its just a matter of different words for different feelings. Hot means sexually exciting, very masculine or feminine. Cute means pretty, lovable, person who makes you happy, feelings like you might also apply to a child.

Please remember that females do not get turned on like men. Well, at least the majority do not. A girl does not get aroused from looking at a picture of a naked guy. She might find him attractive, but she is not going to get hot by looking at the picture.

I like to compare it to eating a great meal. One person totally focuses on the food (that is the horny boy) while the other person (the girl) takes in the SPAM, who is sitting where, the lights, the service, etc.

Younger girls will draw towards the cut guy, but as time goes on and they realize how there are alot of afc's, women will look past "the cute guy".

I don't agree with this. Go overseas and you will see what a lot of girls that age really want. I see some...uh...very interesting couples.
